Situated approximately 500 metres from the coast on a spacious, landscaped complex - this is a luxurious, newly built, apartment furnished throughout with absolute adherence to both quality and detail. The apartment comprises of three good sized bedrooms, two of which have fitted wardrobes and one has its own private terrace with garden furniture. Hotel quality Egyptian cotton bed-linen and towels are supplied as standard. There are two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The sitting room, dining room and kitchen form a spacious open plan area leading out onto a large terrace, perfect for both sunbathing and al fresco dining. The terrace also has a built-in brick BBQ and pergola with linen weave for shade from the hot sun. The terrace overlooks our own private walled garden for you to enjoy with feature trees and shrubs adding to the appeal of this luxurious property. Beyond the walled garden is the large communal pool and garden area. The apartment is in Lapta, near Kyrenia.

    In order to secure the booking, we require a 25% non-refundable deposit with the outstanding balance to be paid no later than six weeks prior to departure.

    We require a security bond of £200 to cover any damage, loss, breakages or disproportionate use of utilities. Please note: for stays longer than 2 weeks, the owners reserve the right to increase proportionally the bond requested. In all cases, the bond will be refunded within 14 days of departure subject to meters being read and report from our managing agent.

    It is possible to book the apartment for additional days, over and above complete weeks, should you so wish. This will be charged at the relevant daily rate depending on the time of the year.

    For stays of more than 4 weeks, discounts will be offered. Please contact the owner for a quotation based on the dates required.

Notes: The communal pool is of a good size and boasts a separate children's pool. The grounds are perfectly safe for young children to roam. The apartment also has Satellite TV and a Play Station 2 with two controllers and a remote control to play DVD's. For those of you that own an iPod, there is also an auxiliary adaptor to work with the stereo. With the apartment comes a family membership for the local beach club where you can spend all day enjoying its facilities, including boat trips and most watersports, i.e. banana boat and floating trampoline in the sea. There are also two swimming pools with sun beds, skittles, pool table, TV lounge, gym, kiddies play area and paint balling. Most major televised world sports fixtures are likely to be broadcast live in the bar area. The membership provides free entrance to the beach club and 20% discount against all purchases including food and drink.

Why should I visit Northern Cyprus?: “Northern Cyprus - sophisticated, charming and a place where tourism exists, but doesn't yet dominate its unique landscape”. BBC Holiday. One of the last unspoiled corners of the Mediterranean, Northern Cyprus offers not only spectacular countryside, miles of deserted beaches but also a traditional warm welcome. Unlike many other areas of the Mediterranean, Northern Cyprus is most definitely the ‘best kept secret’ of the Mediterranean. The country is scenically stunning ranging from the sand dunes of the Karpaz ‘Pan Handle’ to the impressive Kyrenia mountain range. The weather is outstanding with over 300 day’s sunshine a year, a sea temperature that hardly ever drops below 16°C and Spring arriving in February, a good antidote to the British winter! EasyJet now fly from the UK's Luton Airport to Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen Airport on the Asian side of the Bosphorus. Pegasus Airlines operates a daily shuttle from this Istanbul airport to Ercan in Northern Cyprus. Thomas Cook are also offering flights, through Cyprus Turkish Airlines, direct to Ercan. The following tour operators sometimes offer good flight only details: Cyprus Paradise Green Island Holidays Flying to South Cyprus: BA, Monarch Airlines (Air2000), aJet (Formerly, Helios Airways), Olympic Airlines, Cyprus Airways, Thomas Cook, First Choice and Easyjet (from Manchester to Paphos - March 2008) Airport transfers: Please inform us of your requirements at your earliest convenience and the owners will make all necessary arrangements. Ercan (approx. 45 min drive) Larnaca/Paphos (approx 1.5 - 2 hour drive)

I like it...tell me some more about the area: Situated on the north coast of Cyprus, Kyrenia - with its 6,000 year long history, unique remains of countless civilisations, miles of natural beaches, calm sea and mild climate - is an idyllic Mediterranean town. Bounded to the north by the sea and to the south by the greenery of the Besparmak (Fivefinger) Mountain Range, it offers the most magnificent scenery on the island. Just Perfect

This is a perfect holiday apartment in the Lapta area supplied with everything you need for a relaxing holiday, like home from home but with sunshine and the most fantatsic views of the mountains.
The apartment is only 10 minutes walk to a good bar, JKs, which shows all the premiership football, another 2 minutes walk brings you to a small supermarket where you can get fresh bread every morning which we did and then had breakfast on the covered patio with the beautiful perfume from the jasmine growing in the pretty private garden- great for sunbathing.
We hired a car as we wanted to see as much of North Cyprus as we could but the buses run very regularly (on the mainroad where the supermarket is) to take you into Kyrenia and the surrounding areas. I would highly recommend this apartment for location and facilities. 10 out of 10

This apartment was excellent we found it clean and the welcome pack we had ordered from David Hillier the superb agent waiting.Lyndsey the owner had arranged our airport pick up and car hire with Cyprus Pines,even though we arrived 5 hours late the taxi was still waiting at Larnaca airport,the hire car was delivered to the apartment the next morning.
David the agent for the apartment met us and ran us through the facilites and recommended places to see,and restaurants to eat in,and there is many !!
The veiw from the pool to the mountains is just fantastic,the whole complex is very good,the owners maintain it to a high standard.

This is the perfect place to explore from, the Lapta area is very nice not to busy,reminded us of Greece 20yrs ago,but enough for our two teenage sons to do.
Us the guest book as the names of the good restaurants have been left by previous guests.
We hope to return next year as there is still lots to see and do,we still have a list of restaurants we did not get to visit.
We would not hesitate to reccomend this apartment and the transfer service to save any hassle or worries.

Very nice stay at The Pines

In the past few years, we had the chance to travel a lots. House and apartment renting was our first choice whenever it was possible. We always had very good experiences with this type of accomodation, but our stay at the Pines in Lapta was far above average for several reasons:

-The kitchen is very well equiped
-Two adult couples can share the apartment and still keep their privacy
-The mountain views are gorgeous
-Everything in the apartment is new, nice and clean
-The owners provide a 5 stars "customer service": they give you all the informations you need about the apartment and activities to do in the region, your arrival and departure is arranged with their local manager: you stay is perfectly stress and worry free!

For these reasons, we would recommand anybody looking for a place for rent in Cyprus to choose The Pines.

We stayed there in 2007 and we had a lovely time. The kitchen was very well stocked in terms of pots, pans ect and it was very clean. We would recommend it to anyone and the owners were very nice to deal with, Ann & Troy (Manchester)
