Catalkoy is a popular village, located about 5k east of the main regional harbour and shopping town of Kyrenia. It is 25 minutes drive from Nicosia, 45 Minutes from Famagusta and around 30 minutes from the main airport at Ercan. The Village boasts 2 sandy beaches with many more beautiful beaches a few minutes away. Villa Insallah is on the outskirts of the village, nestled between the Kyrenia mountain range and olive groves stretching down to the coast. Within a few minutes drive there is a choice of spacious, golden beaches on which to enjoy the renowned, clear Mediterranean waters. This area is also blessed with a great variety of quality restaurants serving all types of local Turkish, Asian and of course English food. On the outside terrace is a dining table with six chairs, and for the pool-side; five sun-beds, two parasols, two relaxing chairs and two small tables. Warm air heaters provide heat in the bedrooms in the Winter and there is a portable calor gas heater in the lounge. We have a non-smoking policy indside the Villa, but provide an ashtray for smokers to use on the outdoor terrace.

Flights and Car Hire: Flights to this location are available from most UK airports. You can now fly direct from most airports into Larnaca in the South and we can arrange a taxi transfer direct to the Villa, only taking 1 hour 5 min. Or fly to Ercan in the North via Turkey - only 25 min from the Villa. Information, advice and help with bookings is available from the owners - please contact us for further details and our web-site address. To enable you to get the best out of your holiday, car hire is strongly recommended. The owners can arrange car hire for you at competitive rentals and with transport to & from the airport - please see contact details.

Arriving at the Villa: Your taxi from the airport will bring you straight to the villa. On arrival you will find a Welcome Pack of fresh food and drinks awaiting you. A comprehensive Information Pack for use of the property, pool etc are in the villa together with local info re beaches, restaurants, shopping and other points to help you make the most of your holiday time. Your hire car will be delivered to the villa at a time to suit you.

Leaving the Villa: At the end of your stay arrangements will be made for a taxi transfer to the airport and the rental car collected from the Villa.

Golf: There is an international standard championship golf course, newly established, only 15 minutes drive from the Villa. With all new facilities including a fabulous club room and restaurant. This is a championship standard course in a beautiful location with very reasonable green fees.

Other Activities: Aqua Park - only 2 minutes drive/Kyrenia Town - only 10 minutes away

Thank you for a sanity break

We loved the villa - very comfortable and stylish, and so nice to come back to after a hot day on the beach or a tiring day visiting the sights. The pool is lovely and we had it to ourselves most of the time. It's great to be able to BBQ if you want an evening on the terrace and an evening swim, but there are also lots of lovely restaurants to visit - we really liked Bo Thai, only a few minutes ride away, and the restaurants by the harbour in Kyrenia - lovely atmosphere and good for people watching. The driving is easy as it's the same side of the road and there's lots of beaches and sights to visit - we enjoyed the drive along the pan handle to the ruins of Salamis. Bellapais Abbey is a must, lovely views.
Everything was realy well organised, from taxi pick-up from the airport, to car hire (we flew Monarch to Larnaca), and the villa was well equipped and very clean. It's lovely to be able to have your own space but still be handy for Kyrenia and so many places.
Would recommend to anyone who wants a break where they can please themselves, do as much or as little as they like, and totally relax. It's also beneficial to visit a non-euro zone.

You are right about the non-euro benefit - we were cheaper than the South, Spain, Portugal and all the rest last year, but now even more so.

We had a fantastic holiday in Your villa. We loved then area and location of the villa. The villa was lovely, clean and very well equipted. The pool and pool area was lovely as we had it all to ourselves. This was a very relaxing Hloliday a total get away for us. The weather was amazing too. We already talked about going back next year ! Thanks for arranging car etc. All went very smoothly.
Owner's Response: We have had great feedback this year from our guests. All pick-up, transfers and car hire arrangements have gone like clockwork. We still have plenty of Winter availability left for those wanting a bit of late sunshine.
Good news for next year is that the rental rates are staying the same, still affording great value, especially as the local currency is the Turkish Lira and not the Euro. Book early to avoid disappointment!

A gem in North Cyprus

We spent a wonderful fortnight at Villa Inshallah, which made a great base for exploring the island. The villa was comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything to make our stay a pleasant one, including plenty of information about the island and places to visit. A car is desirable to make the most of your stay: Belpais Abbey is a great location for an evening meal, and St Hilarion castle is a must though, be warned, there are a lot of steps!

I would certainly feel confident in recommending this villa to anyone, and hope to go back one day.
Owner's Response: Thanks Anne & Luke. We are constantly updating the information re the places to visit and of course to eat. Every time we go we find a new, must visit, restaurant and we never tire of mooching around Kyrenia discovering new shops and watering holes! We have continued our car rental deal with sunrentacar this year which allows 20% discount off standard daily rates for our guests - it all helps.

Thank you so much for the use of the Villa for our honeymoon. What a great place, fantastic location, lovely pool area and just everything we needed to make our break just perfect.
