The flat is in Prague 1 - Mala Strana, the best part of Prague, up near the Castle and close to many embassies. Essentially everything you are likely to want to see is within walking distance. We are very close to the castle, but the river is also nearby and you can rent rowing boats. In addition to the architecture, we are also close to the hillside parks behind the German and US embassies, where you can walk everywhere and get great views. The building itself is a listed monument and dates back to 1541. It was beautifully restored to a high standard by an Italian restoration company two years ago. Free wireless broadband.

Our Prague self-catering apartment for vacation rental. The 'House of the Red Cross' lies in a secluded courtyard off Nerudová Street, below Prague Castle. It is just behind the Lichtenstein Palace in the heart of the city's world-famous Malá Strana (Lesser Town) Prague 1 district and has very easy access on foot (400-800m) to the nearby Castle, Charles Bridge, Cathedrals and embassies. The penthouse is on the 2nd floor and forms the roof-space in a building classified as one of the most important renaissance houses in Prague, dating to at least 1541.

Great weekend getawy

Our family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed at this apartment for a long weekend in February. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to families looking for more space than what you'd normally have in a hotel room. The location is very good - walking distance to many restaurants, 5-10 minutes to the Charles Bridge, and 2-3 minutes to a small grocery store. We'll be recommending it to our friends! Thanks, Anna!

Wonderful apartment to match a beautiful city

We were very happy with the apartment. We stayed for five nights and would love to go back. The apartment was very comfortable, well lit and a warm escape from the snow in December. Situated in an ideal location - although only a stone's throw away from Charles Bridge it was nestled in a quiet laneway - a welcome relief from the crowd. The area abounds in restaurants, shops and cafes. Be sure to eat at the restaurant just outside the apartment - authentic, warm and friendly . The spiral stairs can be tricky to navigate so large suitcases not recommended.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Comfortable, warm, spacious flat, in quiet location in the centre of Prague. Ideal for sightseeing without a car.
As the flat is on the 2nd floor, it would not be suitable for people with mobility problems.
We had a fantastic holiday!
