The flat is in Mala Strana, the best part of Prague, up near the Castle and close to many embassies. Essentially everything you are likely to want to see is within walking distance. We are very close to the castle, but the river is also nearby and you can rent rowing boats. In addition to the architecture, we are also close to the hillside parks behind the German and US embassies, where you can walk everywhere and get great views. The building itself is a listed monument and dates back to 1541. It was beautifully restored to a high standard by an Italian restoration company two years ago. Free wireless broadband.

Our Prague self-catering apartment for vacation rental. The 'House of the Red Cross' lies in a secluded courtyard off Nerudová Street, below Prague Castle. It is just behind the Lichtenstein Palace in the heart of the city's world-famous Malá Strana (Lesser Town) district and has very easy access on foot (400-800m) to the nearby Castle, Charles Bridge, Cathedrals and embassies. The penthouse is on the 2nd floor and forms the roof-space in a building classified as one of the most important renaissance houses in Prague, dating to at least 1541. Anna - Our Prague stay was wonderful, thanks in no small part to your wonderful flat. The location was sterling -- quick access to everything. Possibly the best place we stayed in Europe (if you don't count the first class lounge at the Paris airport!). Thank you for letting us stay at your place. Absolutely perfect!

We were greatly impressed with this lovely flat! It is in an excellent location--extremely close to the castle and all the sights were just a short walk--but on a very quiet street away from all the tourist traffic. There were many good restaurants and bars just down the street. The building is very well maintained and the spiral staircase proved to be quite the hilarious adventure! The flat was clean and cozy and very homey--in fact we opted to stay in a couple of nights instead of going out just because we enjoyed it so much! It was very comfortable for 2 couples. The beds were fantastic and the jetted soaking tub was a real treat after a long day of sightseeing. The owners were most helpful and gracious and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone!
