Guests have access to a stunning outside sea terrace having breathtaking panoramic sea views and allowing outside dining. There is private car parking and the close proximity to the quaint railway station gives guests the option of leaving the car and taking the very popular tourist train into St Ives which takes just 3 minutes along a single track which follows a dramatic path along the coast. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which is a rare feature and enjoys stunning sea views from the Lounge and Master Bedroom across to St Ives harbour and to Godrevy Lighthouse. Compass point is beautifully staged to Cornish Tourist Board Standards and will sleep 6 guests in total comfort.

Notes: The apartment is situated on the first floor, and access is via a small flight of stairs. There is also a security video entrance system. The Kitchen comes equipped with a kettle, toaster, full dinner set, wine glasses, mugs, tea towels, first aid kit, Iron & Iron board, full assortment of pans, jugs, cutlery and other general cooking utensils. The Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed with ensuite & TV, Bedroom 2 has a standard double and Bedroom 3 has twin beds and balcony to rear. All bedrooms have a wardrobe and chest of draws, bedside tables with lamps. The Lounge has a 3 seat sofa, a 2 seat sofa and single armchair along with wide screen TV and DVD. The en-suite has a shower, wash basin and WC, the family bathroom has shower over bath, wash basin and WC. There is a useful information folder including a list of local restaurants, comprehensive tourist information and train timetable. For use on the outside terrace there is a full patio set, comprising, table, 6 chairs and parasol.

Parking & Local Facilities: Please note that we have one allocated parking space and although there are some visitors spaces, these cannot be guaranteed. If you are bringing two cars please be prepared to park one car off-site. There is parking available at the small village railway station and also behind the church. The nearest supermarket is a Tesco which is less than 5 minutes drive away off the main A3074 road into St Ives and there are also banks, hairdressers, a chemist, newsagents and general stores all within a short walk away.

Lovely apartment, clean and very comfortable. Great for getting to St. Ives by train or a pleasant walk. Very steep hill down to the beach, not suitable for the elderly, but a very nice beach once you are down there. For the price, it would be nice to throw in a couple of Tea towels, a dishcloth and a cleaning agent. Would certainly recommend to others and hopefully return again. Did plenty of walking and took the train to St. Ives a couple of evenings where we enjoyed good fish and chips near the Archade, overlooking the harbour. All of our party had a very enjoyable holiday. Thank you.

Gary, Hilary and Jason arrived at the apartment at Compass Point in April 09 to a lovely surprise, it was so beautiful and we relaxed into each room very quickly.
I would definately recommend this apartment to my friends and family and would love to go again ourselves next year.
It was home from home and very relaxing with beautiful views of the sea from the lounge and the master bedroom.
Even the weather was on our side that week, it was sunny every day and Jason just wanted to play on the beach all the time.
We visited many different places as they were within a short driving distance from the apartment.
The apartment was excellent value and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay.

Apologies to the owner for posting this only now but I was looking up the weblink to recommend to 2 friends and only saw the review section today. Stayed here the 2nd week Sept 08 with my wife daughter, son-in-law & new granddaughter.

Superb, spotless, well equipped & well-maintained apt in brilliant, albeit quiet, location with sea views (& watch the dolphins thru binocs at the mouth of St Ives harbour !!)

Railway Stn (Carbis Bay) 2 mins walk so no parking or drink-drive aggro with St Ives. Superb beach below apt, great coastal walks & and no traffic issues hitting anywhere in S Cornwall. The Lounge is a great place to sit alone & read yesterday's papers !! Seriously highly recommended.

Used this apartment 3 times now at different times of the year. Excellent location, very clean,tidy, and well equipped.

Train station is a 2 minute walk away. Regular trains into St Ives which is a great place to visit. I have been to many UK seaside towns and this is one of my favourites.

Fantastic stretch of sandy beach only 5 minute walk away.

Plenty to do nearby for a young family with theme parks, farm parks, and swimming complexes all within 30 minute drive.

Tesco is 5 minutes away which always helps if you are self catering.

Will be booking again for next year.

The apartment was really nice. Everything was clean, except some sand in the cupboards and very well equiped. It was comfortable to live there with five people.
The sand beach is only 10 minutes away, the train station 5 minutes. There is also a very nice 30 minutes walk to St.Ives.
Definitely worth it to stay there if you want to enjoy Cornwall.
