Yew Tree Nook has been uncovered from the wine cellars of the Grade 11 listed house of Bradley Hall and lovingly restored to a 5 star standard, offering a unique experience. The original vaulted ceilings and stonework have been retained but patterned with supplant silks, stained glass and luxurious tapestry. Lady Pond Retreat caters for the larger family or families, offering 8/9 beds in 3 bedrooms and a large kitchen/dining/living area. The airy apartment offers all modern amenities and a garden for BBQ's or just relaxing. Bradley village is 2 miles from the market town of Ashbourne and 10 miles from Alton Towers and Chatsworth House. Lady Pond Retreat - 4 star tourist board rated takes its name from the adjacent Victorian Lady Pond, which still uses the existing water wheel and is overlooked by undulating countryside and the 15th century village chapel. The modern apartment is airy and spacious but retains character by incorporating oak beams with modern amenities. The apartment boasts of 3 double bedrooms, 2 with additional single beds and one with an option of zip/link beds to be either doubles or singles. There are two modern bathrooms, one ensuite, both with showers and baths. The large kitchen/dining/lounge holds all amenities and ensures that all parties can enjoy there own leisure time, whether that is cooking, reading or relaxing in comfortable surroundings.

Wonderful accomodation, tastefully done. All that we needed was here. Beautiful area for walking and sightseeing. Had a wonderful time, and we will be back.

Beautiful setting, close to all amenities

The apartment was beautifully furnished with lots of lovely cushions and beams. Perfect for 3 couples and 4 young children, plenty of room and all facilities worked well. Could have done with more up to date DVD player and microwave but all working. One point to note is that the rooms are open at the point where the beams meet, which means the room closest to the lounge can be quite noisy if your fellow guests stay up!
Beautiful grounds and handy location close to Ashbourne for all amenities. Carsington Water was perfect for a day out, playground and long level walks for pushchair. Good well priced restaurant too. Will definitely try and go back again.

With regard to the rooms being open at the top can I point out it is filled in with clear glass giving the illusion of being open.

Our only complaint is that we needed internet access.

The apartments are beautiful and very spacious. We stayed there with two children, 8 and 11. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around.
