Swimming Pool
A heated swimming pool is available from about April to November, it is heated to about 80degrees and is covered except in prolonged sunny periods. Swimmers swim at their own risk and it is requested that people do not swim alone.
Woodland
The house is surrounded by a wood which is accessible to guests. However we do not own the whole wood and you are asked to respect our neighbours. There is a vast array of wild life, from squirrels to badgers, from blue tits to jays. You are welcome to walk or just sit and watch. Several small streams criss cross the wood but these are easily crossed and provide more entertainment from the wild life.
Eating Out
There are two Pubs in the village which both have restaurants serving typical English fayre. Most local villages have their own pubs which do meals. Our village also has a bakers/butchers and Post Office/village store. The nearest supermarket is Tesco 6 miles away.
