This modern property has a large reception ground floor with 24 hr concierge and video entry phones. Designed and built to a very high specification, with its residents lounges, private rooms and maintained residential gardens. There's secure free parking for one car per apartment . The apartment building is part of the prestigious 'Mosaic Centre' which has certain popular facilities. On site there 's an exclusive Italian restaurant plus a Deli Supermarket open from early morning till late evening. On fine days meals may be taken seated around the fountain.Underground is across the street as is also Gordon Ramsay's, 'The Narrow' for excellent food, pre booking essential! The apartment, located on the third floor, is easily access via an elevator. It is fully equipped with all the necessities for modern self-catering life. It has two generous bedrooms and two hi spec bathrooms. The owner has created a warm and inviting living space, ideal for a relaxing comfortable stay in London Town.

Located in the most historical part of Central London, west of Canary Wharf in the popular Mosaic Centre, just two mins walk from Limehouse Rail Station, only two stops from Canary Wharf eastwards or west-wards to Tower Bridge. Nearby there's Limehouse Basin full of yachts and cruisers and across the street is the river Thames and two very famous 17th Century pubs. “The Grapes” and “Booties” are well documented and renowned locally for their suppers and traditionally brewed ale. The river bus travels from Canary Wharf to Westminster Pier or down river to Greenwich or to the futuristic Thames Barrier. Canary Wharf is nearby reached via the Thames Riverside walkway. This is the heartland of London Financial City with one of the best shopping malls London has to offer. There are some 90 exclusive shops and as many restaurants. Additional information about rental rates

  • The rental rates vary for bookings for 2 persons up to 4 people. The rates quoted above is for two persons for a week, inclusive. 2009 rates For two (2) people the rate would be £850 per week. For Three (3)persons the rate would be £900 per week, for four(4) the rate would be £950 per week. All rates are inclusive. Rate per extra nights over a week are calculated on a pro rata basis and adjusted down for longer periods. For the minimum of 4 nights rates are from £150 per night. All rates are inclusive except for a small refundable security deposit, from £100.
    There is FREE parking for one car, although a car is not necessary from this central location, Wireless Internet and Satellite TV are also included. Bikes are allowed.
    Payments are via credit cards. Initially, £200 booking deposit is required to reserve the dates then two months before arrival date the balance payment is due, in full. The deposit is refundable within days of your departure following checking of the property
  • As the property is fully fitted out and well equipped for self catering, (we hold a current 4**** grade Certificate from the English Tourist Council)., there is a security damage deposit from £100 which is refundable after your stay. Our rates include private parking for one car in the garage in the basment of the building, fast WIFI in the apartment and again in the residential areas and satellite TV.
    There are no other charges. The area has quiet streets which are ideal for cycling and walking. Walk along the river bank to one of the three local Historic Inns/eating rooms and Canary Wharf with it's many attractions.
  • If cancellation occurs during the early period only the £200 booking deposit is lost. During the last two month period however, every effort would be made to re-let the property at this short notice. Any monies secured by this late re-booking, will be repaid.

  • Two bathrooms suport these bedrooms, both hi spec. Italian tiles on floors and walls and marbled vanity unit with basin. One wall is mirrored. Heated towels rails and power showers in both. One bathroom is ensuite with two double sized glazed wardrobes providing a private dressing area. The two bathrooms have power showers and heated towel rails. One bathroom is ensuite and the second bathroom is just outside the second bedroom.

  • The large king size bed is made of two single continental sized beds, making it a super king sized bed, of over 6 ft. (Can be set apart as 2 single beds on request) In the second bedroom we have these two singles beds set apart for seperate sleeping, but they can also be put together to make a second super king bed, as required. We have a single chair bed in the lounge for accommodating a 5th person if required. The second bathroom just outside the second bedroom also has a bath. The second bedroom has a double wardrobe. There are comfy chairs and bedside tables with lamps in both bedrooms. The apartment has it's own telephone and your friends may also be in contact with the reception in your absence.

Notes: This apartment building has a luxurious reception area with a long sweep of comfortable sofa’s and side tables, a resident’s private courtyard garden and ground floor private meeting/or dining rooms which can be booked for use. Generally, this apartment offers a discerning tourist or businessman a self-catering, self-contained alternative to expensive hotel living. It’s well located and ideal for a short, relaxing and comfortable stay in London Town. The accommodation is all on one level and is part of the popular Mosaic Centre which is a block raised up from the street level by steps or ramp and has three fine restaurants, a deli supermarket and on site dry cleaners. The in house reception staff are on duty 24 hours a day 7 days a week, so there is always someone on hand to assist if required. They are friendly, knowlegable and have often guided my thankful guests in all sorts of ways, as noted in the guest comments.

A Great time

We had a great time in this lovely flat in London. it was clean and well equipped. We were worried about walking from the station in the evenings and reading another review settled our minds. It was quite safe and although we did encounter a crowd of youngsters one evening they were not a problem. There was a deli supermarket on the ground floor of the block which sold lovely fresh baguettes. There was also a very nice Italian restaurant in the opposite corner. This was very nice and worh a visit if returning home before eating in London. There was also a Tesco Express supermarket at the traffic lioghts at the top of the road. This was a short enough walk to carry several bags. Travelling around was easy - we bought daily travel cards at £5.60 each (£1 for under 16's) and this met all of our travel needs. You could see the station from the apparment window. We booked a flat rather than a hotel to give us the appropriate space as our children are now young teenagers. We all found it suited our needs as we could sit as a family in the evening if we were back early or have a longer lie if we had been out late. The booking process was very easy and our deposit returned within 10 days of returning home. In summary we would all recommend this flat to anyone wanting a comfortable, clean base to explore London and for our needs this was much more suitable than a hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable and perfectly located. The Limehouse train station was just 2 short blocks away and provided easy access to anywhere in London. The cafe and restaurants located within the property also provided convenience and a great option for dining in or out. The neighborhood was very safe; we walked down to the river and local pubs a couple times and never had a problem. Finding a great place to stay can be challenging when you are visiting another country, but we found this apartment perfectly fit all our needs and Christine was very pleasant to work with! You have my 100% recommendation!

We had a wonderful and very comfortable fortnight in this lovely apartment with absolutely everything we needed and great transport links to get to all the main attractions. We'd recommend it to anyone!

Our London Home Away from Home

My husband and I and our 2 twentyish sons stayed here for 8 days in May, 2009. We found the apartment to be clean, well-stocked and very convenient to transportation. The DLR station is a block away and we could see the station from our balcony. The DLR gives access to the tube and all of London.

It was so nice to come "home" to after a long day of site-seeing and be able to relax, watch tv, cook if we wanted. The washer-dryer allowed us to pack light and only take carry-ons. I don't think four adults traveling together (whether family of friends) could find a more affordable living arrangement than this by half. The beds were comfortable and with 2 bathrooms, there was never a line! The building is locked 24 hours a day and the concierge was always on duty to answer questions.

There are several nice restaurants close by (we enjoyed Gordon Ramsey's "The Narrow" and "Figa"), and at least 2 convenience stores within a block for anything you need.

Christine, the owner, was easy to communicate with and replied quickly to any questions we had. She stocked the apartment with lots of maps, brochures, and information about London. We wouldn't hesitate to use this apartment again if we are lucky enough to be able to return to London.
