Studio flat suitable for 2 people.

Centrally located in a quiet street approximately 180yards from Kennington Tube station ( which has quick and direct lines to the South bank, West End and City) a large and well appointed studio flat.

Laid out to high standards and with its own front door. The accommodation comprises of an entrance vestibule leading to the bay fronted studio room furnished with a comfortable double bed, and sofa, television and period features. A hall with storage and hanging space leads through to a bright and airy eat-in kitchen fitted with cooker, hob, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. A modern shower room and further store with washing machine.

Decorated in neutral colours with a mixture of antique and modern furniture.

A perfect base for either a business or pleasure trip.

Close to the tourist spots of the South Bank, Borough Market , City and West End. Great transport links with Tube, Bus and Rail. Minutes away is the delightful Clever Square with its traditional English pub which provides an excellent spot to sit on a summers evening and relax. Good local restaurants....as well as the swanky central ones.

A Wonderful Stay in Kennington

We stayed in this lovely little flat for 5 nights in September, 2007, and had an excellent time. Simon, the owner of the flat, was very friendly and helpful, and a pleasure to chat with. The studio itself is delightfully decorated and cozy, with a comfy queen sized bed and couch for lounging. The kitchen is bright and cheerful, and is very well stocked with utensils to make cooking meals very easy. The bathroom is a little smaller than expected, but it was all we really needed for our stay.
The walk to the Kennington Tube Station is a breeze, and takes less than 2 minutes to get there. We were in Central London for sightseeing in less than 15 minutes altogether, so the location of Kennington is fantastic!
We walked with ease to the Tesco nearby for groceries, as it was not even a 10 minute walk, and there are numerous restaurants and pubs in the area, many of which Simon was able to recommend to us.
All in All, we had a wonderful stay, and we will definately return for another stay sometime soon!

Very nice

We had a very pleasent stay in this little studioflat. The location is super, very near to the tube, easy acess to everything. The flat is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is not for big people though!
All in all a very good value this flat.

Good apartment

We stayed at Simon's apartment in April 2011. It's located near the underground station, so it was very easy to explore the city. Neighbourhood was also nice and thanks for the owner, we found Tesco nearby to buy some food. In apartment's kitchen there are all the things you need, so you don't need to go to some pub for breakfast. There were also umbrellas, torch, washing maschine, iron etc, so really, most of the things you won't find in the hotel room. Pictures in internet are true. Rooms were clean, everything was working. There were some also brochures about London (if you forget to take your own travel book). Shower room is a bit small, but if you are thin person, it's not problem for you.
We were satisfied with this apartment. We hope to visit London again and would choose this apartment again.

Excellent ***** flat near Kennington tube station

Forget about hotels, just stay in a nice and cosy flat, especially if it is spotlessly clean and has a kind landlord as is Simon! Read all the lovely comments in previous reviews, they are all true. Location, location, location: the tube is exactly a two minute walk, the neighbourhood safe, the street very quiet (there were even children playing in it while we were staying here, for 7 nights, from 23 Febr. till 2 March 2011).
The flat has a very cosy feel to it, with a lovely bedroom, an excellent bed and perfect shower. The wireless internet connection is a bonus too.
We are planning to come back soon, and on a regular basis, but I fear it will nearly always be fully booked (alas for us, but Simon does deserve it!) Thanks again, Simon!
