| Notes: | This apartment is on the second and third floor of a 200-year old house. If you have difficulty with stairs, it really isn't suitable as there are two flights to the entrance and a further flight to the bedrooms. Please try not to bring a car, the parking in London is awful. Public transport is excellent with underground stations and bus routes near by and of course, famous London black taxicabs are always available. You can walk to many of the major sites, shops and entertainment. There is no outside space with this property, but for children, at the end of the street there is Coram's Fields, a delightful park with swings, slides, climbing frames, sand pit, farm animals and astro-turf football pitches. This is a children only park and adults must be accompanied by a child to enter. For adults, Russell Square is a pleasant green space with a cafe, fountains and wildlife. London's royal parks, Hyde Park, St James & Regents Park provide a good respite from the pacey metropolitan life. |

''We stayed at 22 John Street for a week while on a business/holiday trip to London. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has all modern amenities. The location was central to both my wife's office in Holborn as well as virtually all of central London. The apartment is situated in a relatively quiet portion of Bloomsbury, near numerous restaurants, cafes, shops, pubs and parks. Public transportation is very convenient, with three tubes within an easy walk. The British Museum, Covent Garden, and the theatres and restaurants of the West End are all just short walks the apartment. We spent most of our time exploring the nearby neighborhoods and occasionally venturing further afield on the bus or the Tube to see the sights of the wonderful city.
We highly recommend 22 John Street as a wonderful place to stay in central London and would visit again (and hope to!)''
