Iverna Gardens, Kensington is a modern light 4th floor apartment (with elevator) located on a quiet garden square, 2-minutes walk from Kensington High Street (one of London's premier shopping streets) and 2-minutes walk from an Underground Station. Also, 5-minutes walk from Hyde Park & Kensington Palace (where Princess Diana lived) and close to the Museums and Harrods. This is a very quiet and safe apartment which has been recently completely renovated overlooking communal gardens.

Perfect! Such a gem of a place! Excellent value!

We stayed here in October 2009 for a week - everything about this apartment, our stay and booking was perfect. Genuinely, there was nothing we could fault that we would book again without any hesitation. The owner was a delight to deal with when we booked the apartment - very accommodating and helpful. When we arrived at the apartment, arrangments were made for keys to be given to us by the local property manager and the apartment was immaculately clean. There were clear instructions in the apartment but nothing too formal or prescriptive that you did not automatically feel at home.
The apartment is very well furnished to an excellent standard - the layout & size of the apartment is particularly good for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment (not to be taken for granted in London esp in new developments) and the availability of WIFI broadband access is excellent. As for location, this was perfect for us and our young son - so close to High St Ken yet so private overlooking a beautiful and quiet Victorian square and church - all shops are within a few minutes walk - Boots, M&S, Tesco Metro, Wholefoods, Waitrose.and minutes from Kensington Gardens, Princess Diana Memorial Playground & museums so our son had plenty of space to run around! We brought our nanny to London with us and she had never been to London before so the location, local sights and convenience of local amenities was perfect for her! She loved it too. Thank you for making our stay in London so pleasant and welcoming! Cannot recommend this property more highly!

Wonderful location, beautiful apartment!

We stayed in this apartment for four days in late August. The location of the apartment is perfect. It is a five minute walk from the underground through a shopping mall that houses a Marks & Spencer store with a grocery/take-out department, and within easy walking distance to a Tesco's and many other shops and restaurants.

The apartment is well appointed and very nicely laid out to provide privacy. There are two full bathrooms that work well for four people. The balcony overlooks a pretty square that is also available for use by the apartment building tenants. Although quite close to the High Street it was very quiet and the beds were comfortable for sleeping. Lynn and Karen were very pleasant and helpful and everything was as good or better than described. I would recommend this apartment highly and hope to use it again for our next trip to London.

Great London Apartment

We just spent a week at this lovely apartment and had a wonderful time. There are 4 of us (2 small children, 2 adults) and there was plenty of space with nice, but comfortable furnishings. The location is perfect for sightseeing, as it is close to easy transportation or just a great starting point for a long walk through some of the most beautiful parts of London. If you have younger children, this apartment is just 15 minutes walk to the Princess Diana Memorial Playground in Kensington Gardens which is a great place to get some energy out. We would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in the Kensington area, and we hope to stay there again on our next trip to London.

Lovely flat in a wonderful area

We stayed in this flat for a week in August of 2008 and would most definitely stay there again. It's bright and clean and well-appointed and very convenient to shopping, the tube, restaurants, take-out meals, groceries, and in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. We shopped at Whole Foods and Marks & Spencer for groceries and for easy take-away meals. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance that were good - especially a Lebanese restaurant just a block or so up Kensington Church Street on a corner (Maroush?). We are a family of four, two parents and children, ages 8 and 10, from America.

Very nice apartment

We have just stayed there for 2 weeks (july 2008) and we have loved it. Everything was better than we expected. The location is great and with everything very near.
We loved staying there and would definitely recommend it and will be back again !!
