Appletree has 2 bedrooms, 1 large bathroom, sleeps 4 people

4 * Appletree Cottage (part of a large converted barn) is situated in a wonderful area of outstanding natural beauty and located in two acres of relaxing, landscaped and enclosed gardens with fantastic distant views. It is walking distance from the picturesque village green, shop & PO and ever popular village Pub and only a short drive from an endless choice of fantastic sandy beaches and popular places of interest. It is accessed by the original granite steps and is exceptionally comfortable and cosy, being furnished and equipped to a high standard. The rental price includes luxury towels and bed linen, heating and electricity. The cottage has all expected conveniences including freezer, TV & DVD, digital radio and shared use of a well equipped laundry room. There are cycles available to borrow as we are only a mile from the Camel Trail to Padstow. There is lovely patio with sunloungers and BBQ and a play area for children with swings and badminton and other games. Pets are welcome.

A beautifully comfortable and cosy cottage, ideal for couples or a small family group. Away from it all in one sense, but close to a delightful village and all the numerous attractions on offer in this part of the world. A special place for a holiday whether you want to relax and unwind or be active (or both!) The grounds are absolutely wonderful and there are numerous places to sit & relax or play. We usually have a badminton 'court' set up in the garden and there is plenty of space for ad-hoc games of cricket or football if you're feeling energetic! As mentioned previously, there are cycles available to borrow and we also have a few body-boarding surf boards available as well! We have a very well stocked library of tourist information and we're always happy to offer help & advice on places to see, things to do and restaurants and Pubs to visit! The cottage is ideally situated as it is so close to many popular places of interest. There are great walks straight from the cottage too!

Blisland, a favourite of John Betjeman and unique in Cornwall for its village green, is situated in a wonderfully sheltered position on the western slopes of Bodmin Moor and is ideally situated for both north and south coasts. Guests have an enviable choice of attractions on the doorstep, ranging from cycling (or walking) the Camel Trail, exploring the moor with its wooded valleys, waterfalls and majestic tors or visiting the well known houses & gardens, beaches, coast paths and harbours. Walkers will enjoy the wonderful views on the moor or along the coast paths and beach lovers and surfers will be truly spoilt for choice with numerous sandy beaches within a 30 minute drive. Sailing resorts like Fowey and Rock are just as close, too. And if you like myths and legends-as well as beautiful scenery-head for Tintagel! The choice is truly endless!

The beds and duvets are good quality too and there are blankets should you feel the need! Each bedroom has a small wardrobe, bedside table with bedside light and chest of drawers. The bedrooms,like the rest of the cottage, are furnished with beautiful curtains-often commented on by guests!
