Other Things to Do:
The owners do not tend to do very much when staying at this property. A typical day involves a walk into Padstow, letting the kids fish for crabs on the jetty, eating Cornish Pasties and Cornish Ice Cream for lunch then catching the ferry to Rock and going on the beach. However, The incredible Eden Project is half an hour away. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are 45 mins away. North Cornwall's marvellous surfing beaches are just minutes away. The vibrant resort of Newquay (with its airport and flights to Stansted, Gatwick, Bristol, Southampton and Scilly Isles) is 10 miles away. St Ives' Tate Gallery and excellent beaches are an hour away. Plymouth & Truro are both under an hour away. There are several local visitor farms - notably The Shires just three miles away which has a huge soft play area ideal for young children. Port Isaac, 20 mins north, is the most picturesque fishing harbour and town. Tintagel with its ruined abbey and King Arthur legend connections is half an hour to the north
