The village of Witheridge, situated half a mile away, hosts two pubs, post office and general store, newsagent and churches. Whatever the season Newhouse Farm offers a peaceful location with abundant wildlife including resident badgers, barn owls and red deer. The perfect place to relax!

Newhouse Farm is situated approximately 15 miles from Junction 27 of the M5 motorway in the heartland of Devon, between the market towns of Tiverton and South Molton. The barn enjoys beautiful views over-looking rolling countryside and is ideally situated for exploring Exmoor`s gentle heather clad hills and Dartmoor`s rugged splendour. Tiverton, on the River Exe, boasts an excellent shopping centre, pannier market, an award-winning museum and the Grand Western Canal Country Park where horse-drawn barge trips and peaceful tow-path walks can be enjoyed. South Molton is rich in traditional architecture, the Guildhall building housing a glass-roofed pannier market where local produce can be purchased.

For the benefit of our guests we are now able to offer BT broadband that can be accessed via an internet cable or wireless in some areas. The other new feature for 2006 is the opening of the hayloft, this can seat up to 25 people and can be used for family group gatherings. Feb '06 family from London. Best holiday in a long time! We used the pool with the babies every night, had a great time everywhere. Great cottage. Thank you. April '06 family from London. August 05. Familyfrom Stockport. We`ve had a lovely fabulous holiday with sunny warm weather, accommodation just perfect, we loved Trotters as soon as we saw it plus all the activities, and beautiful countryside. We had 5 families staying in various other cottages on site, would definitely return,accommodation clean and well equipped.

August 05 family from Liverpool. A fantastic & tranquil holiday, the facilities were wonderful. The Trotters cottage was a real home from home, and the location ideal for touring Devon.

October 05 family from Kent. Pity it was such a short visit! Absolutely fabulous place to unwind - we would be quite happy sitting on the patio watching the woodpecker, the nuthatch, robin, wren & blue-tits all-day.

Christmas 05 family from Kent. Cottage very comfortable and well equipped for families with small children, good decor & hosts very welcoming, a good base for touring Devon, we hope to return soon.
