'Cedar' is a beautifully converted Grade II listed stone barn, situated in peaceful surroundings within 23 acres of rolling hills & gentle rural countryside. The barn has a well-equipped kitchen, with dining area, cosy lounge, colour TV (with 30 free view channels) & video. First floor double bedroom with four poster bed, a small dressing room & an en-suite bathroom with corner bath & shower. Superb indoor & outdoor facilities include use of a shared heated indoor swimming pool, trampoline & games room. The village of Witheridge, situated half a mile away, hosts two pubs, post office & general store, newsagent & churches. Whatever the season New house Farm offers a peaceful location with abundant wildlife including resident badgers, barn owls & red deer. The perfect place to relax !. Newhouse Farm is situated approximately 15 miles from junction 27 of the M5 motorway in the heartland of Devon, between the market towns of Tiverton and South Molton. The barn is ideally situated for exploring Exmoor`s gentle heather clad hills and Dartmoor`s rugged splendour. Tiverton, on the River Exe, boasts an excellent shopping centre, pannier market, an award-winning museum and the Grand Western Canal Country Park where horse-drawn barge trips and peaceful tow-path walks can be enjoyed. South Molton is rich in traditional architecture, the Guildhall building housing a glass-roofed pannier market.

The other new feature for 2006 is the opening of the hayloft, this can seat up to 25 people and can be used for family group gatherings. Oct 05 family from Sussex. We cant believe the week has gone by already, and really don`t want to leave. The cottage is beautiful and so well equipped. The pool was fantastic and the grounds are so well kept, hopefully well return again soon.
Nov 05 from Kent. A lovely long weekend. Cottage is great, peaceful location. A great place to unwind. Will come again.
Mar 06 from Bolton. Very clean, good facilities, quiet and relaxing location. Very helpful owners, allowed our two babies to stay, thank you, will stay again.
April 06 from France. In spite of the chilly weather we enjoyed tremendously our week in Cedar. A very cosy cottage, games room for children, a nice country surrounding, helpful owners, everything is made to make you feel at home, and have an enjoyable stay, we certainly will come back.

Clean, tidy, well equiped cottage. Lovely location for walking, wildlife. Added bonus of a swimming pool and games room. Horse riding close by, lots of pubs serving good food. Local farm shop with lots of local produce,even hand made chocolates!! We enjoyed our stay the great sunny weather helped. Would stay again.
