The accommodation consists of kitchen, lounge, sun lounge (front) bathroom, three bedrooms, separate WC, 2nd sun lounge/utility (rear). The main bedroom is a large double with wall length cupboards and wardrobes, and room for a cot. The room has wonderful views of the bay The twin room has views over the rolling countryside to the rear of the property. The single room has views to the rear of the property through the rear sun lounge. The bathroom has a bath, with shower over, and a radiator and wall heater. There is a separate WC with radiator. The good-sized lounge has a wide screen TV (with Freeview); a DVD player and a selection of family games and books. (The open fire is too unsafe to use at present). A sliding door from the lounge leads to a cosy sunroom, with outstanding views of the bay. There is always something to see and astound you, whatever the time of year.
The large, new, high quality, fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room contains a double oven, electric hob, extractor, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. There is a freezer in the walk-in larder. From the kitchen a door leads to the large rear sunroom/playroom/cloakroom (washing machine). This exits onto the rear patio area and large, level, lawned garden; ideal for family games, outdoor-eating and general relaxation. In the rear garden there is a shed containing garden furniture. The area is very private with good views of the surrounding countryside
A well-stocked shop/post office is just a short walk down the road. This supplies all your needs, including fresh produce - and fish and chips! The Bay View Inn public house is also a short distance away with an excellent varied menu. A new restaurant ‘elements’ has opened about half a mile towards Bude.
As well as Widemouth Bay to enjoy you are only a short drive from the very popular seaside resort of Bude with its many amenities, including surf schools, tennis, horse-riding, 18 hole golf course, leisure centre (with swimming pool) and a variety of restaurants, shops and pubs. Also, there are a host of sheltered coves and sandy beaches to explore as well as attractions to suit all tastes including the steep, stepped cobbled streets of Clovelly, Killarney Springs Adventure Park, The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, Boscastle, Tintagel and King Arthur’s Castle, Launceston Steam Railway and The Eden Project to name but a few.
