Our seaside home named Lhasa which is Tibetan for 'The Land of the Gods’ or ‘Holy Place’ is located in the very popular coastal town of East Wittering. Refurbished to a very high standard in 2006 our 3 bedroom home is situated on a large plot with a 90ft south facing lawned rear garden and benefits from a large drive to the front with ample parking for up to 6 cars. Tastefully furnished, the house is situated in a very peaceful location and yet is WITHIN EARSHOT OF THE SEA, just 100 yards from the sandy beach at East Wittering. It is also just minutes away from one of The UK's top beaches (Blue flag) at West Wittering.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rates for the house are from £500 to £750 per week dependent on time of year. Please contact the owners to confirm the actual rate for the dates required.
    Our minimum rental period is 1 week during high season and holidays (half terms etc.), however, we will rent for shorter breaks during the winter period (October to March). Please contact the owners for rates etc.
    We are pet friendly and do allow dogs. The owners must be informed and there is an additional £25 per week charge for dogs.
  • We hold a minimum security deposit of £150.
    Booking deposit of 25%, the remaining balance payable 2 months prior to arrival.
    Linen can be hired at additional cost or you are welcome to bring your own.

Fantastic garden, had lots of football games with kids. Very close to the beach.The blue flag West Wittering beach is a short drive away and is beautiful, has clean toilets and a useful food/drink outlet . Loads of takeaways to choose from so no need to cook. Must go to Lovely Lady pub - fantastic pub food and excellent service, walking distance so no need to drive. Cleanliness of bathroom and kitchen not up to fantastic standards but nothing a bit of flash cant sort out.

My family (6 of us plus dog) stayed in this house for 1 week in April. Everything was as expected and we found the house very clean and tidy. The owners have a local management agent who handed over the keys and was very helpful in giving us some pointers as to the local area (being from London). The house is very bright and airy and the dining room, lounge, main bedroom and conservatory all overlook the garden. We were helped by fabulous weather, but the garden is lovely (sunny all day) and very well kept and big enough for us to have a couple of family 'sports days'. You can hear the sea from the garden and the beach is only 2 minutes walk away with the town only 10 minutes away. At low tide the beach comes alive with, walkers, horse riders, surfers, kite surfers and dog walkers etc. My teenager even fell in love with the place in view of the good surf and great lessons from the local surf shop. I never new The Witterings existed prior to this holiday and never had a particularly good impression of the British seaside, but this is a little gem of place - big enough to have a local town with all the required shops, cafe`s, pubs and resturants etc. but small enough to have kept its local and friendly feel. Hardly used the car for the whole week. All in all a great house in a great location. Will be going back...........Rob and family.
