This 5 star luxury, privately owned Timber Lodge is situated on the prestigious South Lakeland Leisure Park south of Kendal. Located right on the waters edge,it has stunning views overlooking the lake and will appeal to the most discerning of guests. Contemporary lounge with quality furnishings including new sofas,carpets & plasma TV(2011) with freeview, DVD, iPod dock. WiFi Access (£10 7 Days). Step through double glazed doors to the veranda overlooking the picturesque lake. Steps lead down to private boat jetty.

The fully fitted kitchen is modern & fully equipped. Stylish glass dining table seats up to 6 people. Master double bedroom with en-suite, TV, fitted wardrobes. Two twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes.

On site the leisure club has a heated swimming pool, fitness studio, steam room and beauty therapy rooms. Passes can be purchased from the leisure club. There are 2 restaurants which are highly recommended. There is a small beach. Pure quality!

What a find! Luxury!

We found this cabin online and booked directly with the owner Steve, who could not have been more friendly and helpful. When we arrived the cabin was astounding and the setting immaculate. There were 5 of us - and so much spare room and space that we all relaxed.
We will definitely book again, and again...
The sound system is incredible, with cinema quality - take some DVDs for those early nights.
Thanks Steve, for making our break great.

Fabulous time in superb lodge

Lakeside lodge

This lodge is in an excellent position by the lakeside. It is well equipped, though a washing machine would make it even better. It has benefitted from recent refurbishment and is comfortable and well presented. The outside decked area overlooking the lake is a lovely spot to sit in the evenings. It was quite hot during part of our stay - a couple of fans would have been welcome. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet and appreciated the spacious, secure parking space. It would be good if there was an information pack in the lodge, listing specific restaurants, shops, etc. nearby.
But all in all, a really good base from where to visit lots of interesting places - or just stay put, relax and watch all the wildlife.

Highly recommended

We had a lovely week in this lodge. This is our third year staying at Lakeside Leisure and this lodge was the best situated we have been in so far. The lodge was very welcoming and comfortable they even provided a towel for each person staying. My kids loved the huge 'Cosibag' leather beanbag in the lounge. I will definately be recommending this lodge to friends and family, it is well set out and nicely decorated and the master ensuite is actually an ensuite not just a bathroom with a door from the bedroom, this lodge has two bathrooms fab when you have 2 adults and 2 grown-up children wanting to get ready every morning...!!!
All in all we had a lovely week and would not hesitate in using it again, also the communication when booking is personal and friendly, well done.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

The Lodge is beautiful and spacious and of a very high standard 5*. Its extremely well equipped everything we needed was there and more. The TV and sound system is brilliant - now my other half wants the system at home! Great location for getting out and about for the Lake District. Would definately stay there again.
