All our lodges are within easy walking distance of all the amenities, swimming pool gym steam room, bar and restaurant. There ia a side drive allowing for parking and an additional grassed area The balconies have table & chairs some with barbecues to enyoy dining al fresco. This area is renowned for its sunsets

Lainson lodge a beautifully appointed lodge set in a quiet landscaped circle of lodges a few mins from the leisure amenities. Facing east to catch the morning sun the integral balcony with table & chairs makes it ideal for morning coffee. From the balcony through the patio doors you enter the spacious lounge (to big for me to get it all on one photo) with free standing 3 piece suite. The dining area seats four, there is a side entrance door which leads into the fully fitted kitchen well equipped with oven grill hob microwave toaster fridge freezer and plenty of crockery & cutlery pots & pans to cook up a gourmet meal for four. The master bedroom has a double bed with canopy over, wardrobes & dressing table area & an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds wardrobes & dressing table there is room for a travel cot. Parking is to the side of the lodge also a grassed area and the rear is sheltered by deciduous trees. A TV/video & a selection of videos are also supplied.

    Basic starters provided e.g. tea coffee sugar milk condiments, soaps washing up liquids dishwasher tabs foils etc.
    PLEASE BRING LEISURE TOWELS. The leisure facilities & Gym are optional extras and a programme of your requirements can be made to suit at the pool.
    We do not wish to start deposit schemes we prefer to trust your appreciation of arriving to a beautiful & cared for lodge, that you would leave it in the condition you found it.
    While we understand that accidents or mishaps do happen, we ask that you take all steps to minimise any permanent damage and inform us of any breakages of defects at any time or when you hand back the key. Beds made for your arrival & personal towels are provided

    N.B. Please note that payments made are not refundable and we recommend that you take out holiday insurance to reimburse you for any unforeseen event including loss of amenities which we have no control over which gives you cause to cancel or curtail your booking
    LIABILITY Lakeland lodges do not accept any liability to any person or member of the holiday booking for any personal injury, sickness, loss or damage theft to personal property or money however sustained. We reserve the right to forthwith terminate any letting that the hirer or hirers party cause any deliberate or negligent damage to the property being let. Or behaves in such a way as to cause nuisance to adjoining lodges. In such a case the hirer remains liable for the remaining let.

Morecambe Heysham Lancaster and Casterton courses around 8 miles away A bit further Grange over Sands has two Methorpe on the level, or Grange Fell it is as it says on the fell a very interesting course !! Great holiday with kids

Our little family (two adults, two children aged 3 and 1) stayed in the lodge in June for a couple of days. It is surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. The indoor pool is for the kids a good alternative if the weather does not allow playing outside and it is a nice place for the parents to relax. The location of the lodge is very appropriate for day trips into the Southern Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales and it is even suitable for day trips into the Northern Lakes (which we found more interesting if you want to go hiking). Within reasonable distance, there are enough events and parks and museums to visit for all ages. We recommend a car for day trips.
It was certainly the pricyest accomodation of our holiday in England but also the most suitable for us. It was well worth it.
To put it in a nutshell: we enjoyed our stay and would come again if it wasn't such a distance from Germany.
