Mulberry has a light and airy lounge and dining area with its panoramic bay windows is comfortably furnished for up to six guests..French doors lead onto the large decked veranda where this is a large table and seating for six, including a charcoal barbecue for those relaxing warm summer nights. Inside the lodge, there is plenty of entertainment, including a digital television with all freeview channels, video player, DVD player, CD audio system with radio, as well as local interest books, novels, maps and board games. .The efficient central heating system can be supplemented by a modern electric fire set in a feature fireplace to ensure year round comfort. .The fully equipped kitchen has lots of cupboard space and includes oven, hob, kettle, microwave, toaster, full size fridge-freezer and dishwasher. The master bedroom has ample wardrobe and drawer space along with an en-suite 3-piece shower room. . All you need to bring is your clothes and food - it’s as easy as that!

    We do not wish to start deposit schemes we prefer to trust your appreciation of arriving to a beautiful & cared for lodge, that you would leave it in the condition you found it.
    While we understand that accidents or mishaps do happen, we ask that you take all steps to minimise any permanent damage and inform us of any breakages of defects at any time or when you hand back the key.To help keep your packing to a essentials we provide all bedding towels soaps washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc. There will also be coffee sugar tea and starter milk.
    The leisure facilities are available several options & payable at the pool . There are coin operated laundry facilities on the park

    N.B. Please note that payments made are not refundable and we recommend that you take out holiday insurance to reimburse you for any unforeseen event including loss of amenities which we have no control over which gives you cause to cancel or curtail your booking
    LIABILITY Lakeland lodges do not accept any liability to any person or member of the holiday booking for any personal injury, sickness, loss or damage theft to personal property or money however sustained. We reserve the right to forthwith terminate any letting that the hirer or hirers party cause any deliberate or negligent damage to the property being let. Or behaves in such a way as to cause nuisance to adjoining lodges. In such a case the hirer remains liable for the remaining let.

FANTASTIC HOLIDAY AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in the beautiful Emmet Lodge. We found this lodge via this web site and contacted Maureen who from our first conversation was very knowledgeable and helpful. When we arrived we were greeted by Betty who took us straight to our lodge. When we entered it was a home from home. Immaculated decorated within beautiful surroundings. Essentials such as tea,coffee, towels, washing-up liquid etc were all provided so we didn't have to find a shop straight away!. Betty gave us a tour of the lodge, showed us how everything worked, provided a map and showed us how to get to the nearest towns and tourist spots which was very helpful! The pool, sauna and gym are well equipped and staff are very helpful. There are beauty treatments available if you really want to treat yourself! We did not use the bar and restaraunt as we were out exploring most of the time, but it looked really nice. This site is a fantastic base for those wishing to explore the Lakes. You are about 20 minutes from Lake Windemere-which is breathtaking. You are 10 minutes to Morecambe bay (nice beaches) and 15 minutes to beautiful Kendal. My son and his father took full advantage of the many fisheries and golf courses which, are practically on your doorstep (well one is, there is a lake in the complex for those who do not wish to leave this site!). I found this site to be very pet friendly and the people were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This was my first British holiday for a long time and i must admit i was a little apprehensive however, the weather was fantastic, the people were friendly and this site and surrounding areas had plenty of things to keep us all occupied therefore my family and i would highly recommend this holiday to all of our friends and family and i know we will certainly be back soon!.

Even though new lodges are being built next to this lodge (we were informed of this before we booked) we found this did not impact upon our stay. The M6 flows behind this lodge but again you cannot hear traffic from inside the lodge and when you are outside on the lovely verranda talking you not aware of any loud traffic noise at all. Please do not let this put you off trying this holiday site as you will miss out on a little gem of a holiday!!!.

The Ideal break away from It all;

I stayed a Catkins Cabin on Lakeside just last week with my Son & Wife, we had an unbeleivable time! we used the swimming pool & the marvellous Gym situated on site & free with you rental! I booked It with "Maureen who ownes It & a friend of her's "Betty" (I think) met us when we arrived & shoed us every-thing we needed to enjoy our break! I can thourally recomend this holiday to any-one we even took our two dogs & were made so very welcome. There's also fishing In the lake the Cabin was very well heated & the whole place was spotless.
