BOOK FOR CHRISTMAS AND WE'LL PROVIDE A REAL CHRISTMAS TREE. Carrick Lodge is a Scandinavian style lodge that sleeps 6 and is ideal for a self-catering, summer holiday rental. It has been rated a 3 star property for 2008. It is a well equipped lodge which has private use of an external Jacuzzi Hot Tub situated on the balcony. It has one double bedroom, with an en-suite shower and WC; two bedrooms with twin beds and a family bathroom with over bath shower. The living room has a lounge with two settees and satellite TV, Video, DVD, Hi-Fi ; the dining area seats 6 and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven and a washer/dryer. There is full night storage heating. Patio doors lead out on to the balcony, where you will find the Hot Tub and wooden furniture. The balcony catches the sun for most of the day and has excellent views out to sea. There is parking for two cars along side the lodge.

This property is situated beside the old walled garden within the peaceful Trewince Manor estate on the Roseland Peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and over looks the sea beyond. There are plenty of walks from coastal and estuary paths to shady woodland trails abundant with wild life and flowers. Many unspoilt sandy beaches and coves are within easy reach, along with exotic gardens, picturesque fishing villages, and the popular Eden Project and National Maritime Museum. A five minute drive away is the pretty harbour-side village of Portscatho, with its good selection of facilities including butchers and convenience store with bakery, Post Office and pub, the Plume of Feathers, which serves meals. St Mawes is a short 15 minute drive away, where you can either take a ferry trip to Falmouth, have a meal in a waterside restaurant, or visit St Mawes Castle built by Henry VIII. Take the famous King Harry Car Ferry to Truro and other areas of Cornwall.
