Waveny Holiday Park is in the village of Burgh Castle on the river Waveny. Great Yarmouth the largest resort is only 5 miles away and many sandy beaches line the coast within a few minutes drive. It is centrally located for the whole of the Norflok Broads National Park where you can enjoy boating, fishing, glorious scenery, walking the Wherryman's nature trail runs near by. Only 5 minutes walk from the Chalet is the Fisherman pub and restaurant with riverside seating, footpaths meander along the river Waveny. The historic cathedral city of Norwich is only 40 minutes drive it has an interesting castle, alley-ways, museums, restaurants, and shops to explore

The Chalet: Built in 2004 the Chalet is of mainly brick and tile construction with lagging to walls and loft, It is well suited for all year holidays

On the site: Waveny Holiday Park;- Kingfisher bar with dancing and meals at weekends, shop, laundrette. Fisherman pub serving food ( 5min walk )

Burgh Castle: In the village:- there are two pubs serving food, a Chinese and fish n Chip take-away, and a post office/general store

Other Activities: boating bowls

Just spent the Easter weeeknd at this Chalet with my wife, my 8 year old daughter and my 69 year old Auntie.

The weather obvioulsy helped but we all had a wonderful time. The chalet is located in a great place with easy access to all the best that Norfolk has to offer. It was very clean and well furnished. My Aunt particularly liked the small varandha to sit on and soak up the rays of the sun.

Although this camp isn't anything like a 'haven' etc. it is great for relaxing, safe for children to play outside, the main bar / restaurant was very friendly and provided good basic food at reasonable prices. There is a chinese restaurant just opposite the camp entrance that we all enjoyed our take away from on the Saturday night!

If only the weather could be gaurenteed in this country we would quite happily spend a week here exploring the broads.

The owner replied to our booking request very quickly and always answered any questions that we had, we would recommend this chalet to anyone.

Good holiday accomodation and fantastic value! We found the chalet well equipped and comfortable for a short stay. Plenty to do close by, beautiful beaches and easy access to the broads. would recommend for young families and older family groups.

Nice weekend break, chalet very warm and welcoming, quiet location, and easy access to various locations around Norfolk by car. Owners very helpful to 1st time users of this site and guided through booking chalet step by step.

We stayed at this lovely chalet in May. The moment we walked through the door we smelt a beautiful clean smell. Everything was immaculate and we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Excellent value for money. The weather held for us and we were able to do lots of exploring. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to others. Thank you.
