THE OLD RECTORY is a great place to enjoy a relaxing holiday, celebrate a birthday or anniversary, and is suitable for CHILDREN . There is plenty of space to chill out, have fun, or soak up the Georgian atmosphere. The unique house with high ceilings features 4 large reception rooms. The 2 lounges (1 with log fire) have doors opening out onto the barbecue area. There are 10/13 BEDROOMS and 10/12 BATHROOMS (Beds made up and Towels included).. The dining room can seat 26 and a superb kitchen for catering. There is also a games room. Free use of 2 tennis courts adjacent to the Old Rectory. We have a 2 ACRE garden a long driveway and parking for 20 CARS....The peaceful village lies next to a large Reservoir which offers walking (9 miles around the perimeter), cycling, fishing, sailing, (boats and bikes can be hired) and windsurfing... In the village and the surrounding area there are many pubs offering appetising food. The rectory can be rented for weekends or for a week.

The Old Rectory makes a great base
The OLD RECTORY is an ideal venue for meeting up with friends/relations/corporate in a relaxing country atmosphere. The beautiful Suffolk countryside and heritage coastline form part of the East Anglia region of England and is only 1 1/2 hours by road from London. Suffolk has many places of interest to visit such as Constable country - Flatford Mill, Dedham, Snape maltings, 'Jimmys Farm'....1 mile.. Ipswich town 5 miles away, offers shopping centres, a large cinema complex, ten pin bowlings, sports centres, swimming pool , night clubs, 2 theatres and many restaurants. Other activities in the local area are dry ski slope, golf, horseback riding, quad biking, sailing and wind surfing, (boat hire ) cycling, (cycle hire), walking , bird watching.................
The Old Rectory gives value for money
Since we have been renting out the Rectory we are getting many return bookings. Some guests have stayed at the Old Rectory every year. Our guests have been very complimentary about the Rectory, and have agreed our rental rates are value for money. Quotes from our visitor’s book. . A wonderful weekend that will always be remembered. A lovely house and wonderful gardens to celebrate a golden wedding anniversary . One day soon we hope to return. From the Neslen clan........ We had the best time ever, All 20 of us round the table for dinner and our nightly pool competition, and football matches in the garden we will be back. Mr Dalton...... Thank you for a fantastic time, house is Big enough to lose yourself, but still cosy. Kitchen great for cooking, games room huge fun for kids and adults. Would definitely come back again, don't really want to go home. Chantlers, Rogers + McElligotts.
