The former Manor House now Manor Cottage, with 17C flagstone floors, oak beams, open fireplaces and a floodlit well, was listed in the Domesday Book and offers a wealth of history and character. The cottage is superbly equipped with every aspect of your accommodation carefully considered. A warm welcome awaits with cut flowers, local cider or apple juice and a lit fire.
The area:
Breathtaking coastal walks, the Daphne du Maurier country of hidden creeks, inlet harbours and the wilds of Bodmin Moor. Not far away is the fishing village of Polperro or from Boddinick you can cross the estuary to Fowey with many boats, individual shops and restaurants. Beaches are close by and over on the north coast (40 minutes) the surf awaits. Lerryn & Lostwithiel have tidal rivers, inns & antiques and can be reached down quiet lanes by bicycle. We are 20 mins from the Eden Project and 30 mins from the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
