Hyperion Lodge is located 1 mile beyond the village of Portscatho on the Roseland Peninsula. Local quiet beaches a mile away. The lodge is also a comfortable distance from the Eden Project and the Great Gardens of Cornwall such as Heligan, Trelissick, Trebah to name only a few. St Mawes is an easy drive with foot ferry sailings to Falmouth or take the King Harry Chain Ferry to access the West. National Trust and English Heritage sites to visit, Cornish villages and wonderful coastal walks. The lodge has parking for 2 cars. The village of Portscatho has a very well stocked local shop, and a quality butchers (try the sausages!). There are art galleries and a craft shop. Portscatho has a pub called 'The Plume of Feathers' whilst neighbouring Gerrans has 'The Royal Standard'.
