Thatched cottage in small Cornish fishing cove
A historic 300-year-old fisherman's cottage, thatched with whitewashed walls and roses round the door, pictures of this listed building appear in holiday guides all over the world. Most rooms have breathtaking views across the cove and out to sea. You hear only the sound of waves lapping on the beach, fishing boats launching for their daily catch and seagulls awaiting their return. At night the sky delivers millions more stars than you have ever seen before - all at no extra charge! Inside, the house is comfortably furnished with sacrificing its olde-worlde charm. The living room has a huge granite inglenook fireplace. There is a separate dining room and the kitchen has oak units, a breakfast bar, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Upstairs there is one double bedroom, one twin and separate bathroom with bath and shower. All bed linen and electricity are included and there is parking space for one car about 20 yards from the cottage.
