Grange End Cottage was converted from a 19th Century barn by a local craftsman and is a charming 4 star cottage has been meticulously & sympathetically renovated with thick stone walls, large inglenook fireplace, oak beams and many original features. Bridgelands Cottage is an 18th century luxury Lakeland cottage with log fire, oaks beams. Located away from roads in a lovely peaceful setting, yet only a minute's walk to the centre of Cark-in-Cartmel village which is situated in the beautiful Cartmel valley. Cartmel village is only 2 minutes drive north and lake Windermere just a 10 minute drive.

Bridgelands cottage is a charming 18th Century cottage positioned in a quiet off road location close to the heart of the unspoilt South Lakeland village of Cark-in-Cartmel. Furnished and equipped to a high standard with oak beams, antiques, grand father clock, roaring log fire and every modern convenience you would expect in a luxury holiday cottage. Situated in the beautiful Cartmel valley with its lush green fields, quiet, leafy lanes, and gentle rolling hills, yet only a 2 minute stroll to either of the 2 good village pubs. The cobbled streets and 12th century priory village of Cartmel lies just 1½ miles to the north and Lake Windermere is a 10 minute drive. Prices include good quality bed linen, towels, gas and electric. Coal and logs for the real fire are also included in season. Pets are welcome at Bridgelands Cottage.

Our separate & individual, luxury cottages are situated in a secluded, peaceful position away from roads up a cobbled lane near the heart of the unspoilt Lakeland village of Cark-in-Cartmel. There are 2 country pubs within a 2 minute walk & Cartmel village is only 2 minutes drive north. The medieval village of Cartmel is the oldest & most picturesque village in South Lakeland and is home to 4 great village pubs, all serving good food, a Michelin starred restaurant (L'Enclume) & a fantastic, stylish brassiere & cocktail bar (Rogan & Company). The ancient village square where 2 of the pubs are located is a great place to sit and watch the world go by before heading back to the tranquillity of your cottage. Grange-Over-Sands and Lake Windermere are just 10 minutes away by car. Bowness-on-Windermere, Kendal & Ulverston are all within 30 minutes drive. Cartmel Valley is a great place to enjoy a peaceful holiday and still be within easy reach of many of the Lake Districts top attractions.

Lovely clean cottage, well equipped, enclosed garden & own off road parking space right outside. Owner Simon is very helpful.
Cark has 2 good pubs, a nice little store, and children's play park. Good walks from cottage. Flookburgh and Cartmel are both walkable and have lots to offer whether its fish and chips or fine dining.
Overall a good base for seeing this part of the lakes.
