Radway Meadow is a Victorian cottage built in 1879 in Sidmouth, a Regency town on the Jurassic Coast of South Devon - a World Heritage Site. It is tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the middle of the town a few minutes walk from the sea front. It sleeps 8 people in 5 bedrooms, has 2 bathrooms, a dining room, living room, small study/play-room and a well equipped kitchen. It also has the benefit of a safe enclosed garden with lawn, flower beds and patio with seating and gas barbecue, there is also off-street parking for 2 cars.

Radway Meadow is a quiet and charming cottage in the Regency town of Sidmouth on the South Devon coast. Sidmouth was a small fishing town that became a fashionable destination in the Regency period, and retains an unspoilt Regency seafront promenade and many interesting buildings from the period. The Jurassic Coast of south Devon is a World Heritage Site, with lovely coastal paths and beautiful cliffs and coves. Places of interest include Dartmoor National Park, Bicton Park and Gardens, Crealy Adventure Park, Seaton Tramway, Powderham Castle, Beer Quarry Caves, great family beaches in Sidmouth, Seaton and Exmouth, golf course in Sidmouth and many more. More distant attractions such as Cornwall and the Eden Project can be reached in under two and a half hours. The nearby city of Exeter has many good shops, historic cathedral & city walls, first class restaurants and the town of Honiton is famous for its lace industry and antique shops.

Excellent property

Clean, light, well equipped, kid friendly garden, off road parking and plenty of space when the grandparents joined us.

1 minute from the main street
5 minutes from the sea front and swing park
10 minutes from the sandy beach

Plenty of places within a short drive too.

We'll be going back.

What a fantastic property this is and is very reasonably priced for what you get. We would love to return to this well equipped and roomy cottage. It has everything you should need and more.. even TV in the bedroom and kids play room should you feel the need to watch your favourites while away on holiday. It's clean and very well maintained, we couldn't fault it. We'd love to go back but with all these glowing reviews it might be a good idea to book early!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Lovely house stayed here September 2009

At the risk of not being able to get this house again as it is booked up I have to say it was perfect.
The location is excellent, the house is clean, tidy and well kept. The location is superb tucked away and quiet but close to the town centre and the seafront.

We can't recommend it highly enough.
