Inexpensive, good quality cottage for 4 in pretty Devon village

We stayed at Jacketts for three and a half weeks during the depths of mid-Winter and found the property to be warm and comfortable. The heating worked well and the gas fire in the lounge made for lovely cosy evenings. Wireless internet access allowed us to browse local attractions online, there were ample cooking facilities and the owner provided excellent help in respect of advice on local activities and the use of the facilities within the house. We were happy to find that all the activities we were interested in were only a short stroll away, with the Mill being at the bottom of the road, likewise the beautiful walk along the Otter river to Budleigh Salterton was easily accessible even with a child in a buggy. We really enjoyed the spectacular views and coastline, purchased wonderful fresh local fish, meat and vegetables and extensively explored the Jurassic coast, Dartmoor and the Torbay region. I have recommended the property to my family and expect that some of them will follow us down there soon.
