Perfect family cottage

OzFamily Nambour, Queensland, Australia
Review Submitted: September 23, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
We stayed in September 09 and found the cottage perfect. It is charming, crooked and interesting, but still practical and easy to live in. The garden was a pleasure, and we tasted everything there that we could (and there is a lot!). Our children (6,10 and 12) loved the cottage and were never bored. The information about the edible things in the garden and history of the cottage was very good, and the cottage was very well stocked with games. The cottage is well positioned in a little village that is still close enough to most places by car. The owners were a pleasure to deal with.

Girls Birthday Getaway

Bday Girl London
Review Submitted: July 7, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
The cottage was lovely and very charming. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and felt very relaxed in the house and garden. As a group of 23 year old girls we found it a perfect and accessible place to get out of London after work on a Friday, visit the pub and cook supper!

The house has a great atmosphere and the garden is superb in size and privacy. Great to have a good barbeque and swings... you're never to old!

We took a lovely long walk to Burford across country in the sunny weather, and explored the surrounding areas in the car. All in all, we had a lovely relaxing weekend, and we would definitely return. Great price for the weekend for a large group, and communication with the owners was excellent.

We have now spent four perfect holidays in this cottage, which we find ideal for visiting the Cotswolds, Oxford and surrounding areas. It is equipped for one or two families, with a wonderful kitchen and bathrooms, a beautiful garden and terrace and thoughtful owners. Our children now 7 and 5 also love it.

Cosy, but spacious cottage with beautiful garden

Mees Netherlands
Review Submitted: May 27, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The house has the perfect combination of old atmosphere and modern standards. Cooking in the well equiped grandmother's kitchen, drinking a glass of wine next to the fire place in the sitting room, relaxing on the terrace overlooking the big garden... just perfect for a week out of everyday hectic life!
It was quiet and peaceful, but the children (3 and 5 years old) did not have time to get bored: a lot of toys, a swing and a climb-and-slide in very good shape in the garden and the house and garden big enough to play hide-and-seek all day long.
The surroundings are very peaceful and quiet, even with the pub a few steps away, where you can eat a decent meal when you don't feel like cooking. There are nice little towns nearby to visit; the children liked the bird park in Bourton-on-the-Water very much.
The owners provide good information and are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this cottage to my relatives and friends!

Review Submitted: March 3, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
Fantastic cottage, very comfortable, everything there that you need. Good range of toys for the kids. Pub next door very handy!
Easy drive to lots of beautiful villages to explore.
Really fun to cook on the Arga, and we recommend doing a tesco delivery order for food if you can't bring your own.
