Great stay at the Dingle

Our family of 5 was spending a week in the Cotswolds, and stayed at the Dingle cottage for 9 nights.
Pros: charming, historic Cotswold cottage, in great condition. The furnishings, kitchen and bathroom are great, finished to a high standard. Everything worked, was spotlessly clean, and Steve was very responsive and helpful. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and ate outside on the patio table - it was lovely.
Location to the Cotswolds was fantastic, I don't think you could do better. We took day trips to Bristol, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, and spent hours just driving the beautiful roads and visiting the little villages. Seriously, I don't know how you could do better.
The village of Nailsworth is a GEM - good restaurants (never eaten so much Indian food in my life) - you MUST visit the visitors center and take the walking tours. We had a great time trying to find our way through the public footpaths - one of the great joys of our trip to England.
Cons: To be fair to Steve, I knew what I was getting in to - he was very honest with things like bed size and ceiling height - but WOW, people were short in England in the 1700's. I must've hit my head 10 times, and even to the rest of the family, the low ceilings and short doors felt awkward. As Steve said, though, "that's the character".
It is what it is, just be aware of what you're getting into. Big guys will have a tough time.
Our stay at the Dingle was one of the highlights of our trip, and we'd go back again without hesitation.
