A charming recently renovated cottage on the ocean's edge next to the Gurnard Sailing Club, near Cowes, Isle of Wight. The property enjoys stunning views of the Western Solent and fabulous sunsets. Accommodation comprises of a modern sitting/kitchen/dining room which is incredibly light due to the windows overlooking the ocean. The sitting area has a sofa, comfy chair and gas fireplace. The adjoining dining area has a large table with 6 dining chairs. The new fully equipped kitchen is equipped with a Siemens hob, microwave, oven and washing machine. Both the upstairs bedroom and downstairs bedroom have a double bed. The cottage sleeps four in total. In front of the living room is a large balcony overlooking the sea, sailing club and beach. There is an attractive decked area in front of Daisy Cottage that is great for sun bathing.

The property enjoys stunning views of the Western Solent. It is situated on the waterfront at Gurnard, a few minutes drive from the famous sailing resort of Cowes. Cowes is home to a wide range of boating services and facilities and offers a wide choice of pubs and restaurants that make any visit enjoyable. Gurnard beach front consists of the sailing club, a cafe, attractive pub and sandy beach. Cowes is centrally located on the Isle of Wight off the south coast of England. From Southampton, Red Funnel operate ferry services across to Cowes. Choose from the frequent Hi-speed Red Jet passenger service or the Vehicle/Passenger ferry which operates between Southampton and East Cowes, Isle of Wight. The short Hi-speed ferry service that operates between Cowes and Southampton gives fast access to Southampton airport, the railway station and motorway links to the rest of the UK.

Great location, lovely little cottage

We went for a very short break here during Cowes week. The cottage is in a perfect location, about half an hour's walk along the waterfront from Cowes. The cottage is very clean, modern and beautifully light. The top bedroom has low eaves, so suited the kids (although they would have prefered twin beds), the lower bedroom is spacious with a very comfortable bed. The owners were very helpful with information before the trip.
There is lots to do - nowhere it very far away on the Island. We would have spent more time enjoying the sun on the balcony or beach except there wasn't any (sun)!
Definitely recommend.
