Cottage: Cottage Rental, 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6 in Greenwich

I have to say that I absolutely LOVE London, but Alan and Lana made the trip just that much better. They were extemely helpful with any questions that I had and arranging the taxi service from the airport. We flew into Stansted, which was a perfect location. The taxi was about half the cost through their recommended company than the car hire "taxi" at the airport.

We stayed in the Coach House, which was absolutely beautiful!!!! I have three girls and it was great to have a lovely back yard for them to play in at the end of the day. Our family thought this was a perfect location. I have stayed in "downtown" London before and found it rather noisy at night, as most big cities are. This was perfect, quiet, and very comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. The walk to the train was easy. We used both the Mottingham and Eltham train locations which are (overground). I have to say we preferred Mottingham, but used Eltham depending on the departing and arrival train from Charing Cross (underground). All were very easy to navigate and ran late into the night. We felt very safe the entire time and didn't come home until very late, 11pm or 23:00, in the evening after seeing Wicked and Les Miserables.

I can't say enough about the hospitality of Alan and Lana, their son was great also. They went above and beyond being helpful to me and my family. More so than any other place we have stayed. We have stayed in 12 different countries thus far and they were by far the BEST!!!!

I would HIGHLY recommend this Coach House to all my friends and when we come back to spend holiday in London again this is where we will be staying. Thank you for a FABULOUS place to experience London!!!

This accomodation was fantastic and we had a great three days and three nights. the accommodation was spotlessly clean, the facilties were fantastic and the garden was beautiful. We had a couple of trips into Greenwich whilst staying there which took just 10 minutes by car and the stations are very close. The bedrooms were lovely and the victorian style bath was beautiful! Kitchen was great and well equipped. We hope to return in the future.

We have spend 7 days in July 2010 in that Penthouse. Due to an aircraft delay we arrived late in the night and we got great assistance from Alan, who collected us from the railwaystation with his car. After that he helped us to carry our luggage into the penthouse. Then he showed us all the rooms and gave us some explanations for the next day.
Lana and Alan have given to us a very worm and friendly reception.
The 2 bedrooms, the 2 bathrooms, the living room and the kitchen were very comfortable and light flooded. There is also a roof terrace and a great garden. The interior of the rooms gave the penthouse a luxory outfit. It is part of a house with a great history.
From the house you can walk in two directions to two railwaystations:
1st Mottingham station; 2nd Eltham station. From there you can go by train to the center of London within 15-20 minutes with 4 or 5 stops only. Behind the house is the Eltham palace located. If you stay there, you must see it.
The time that we have spend in that penthouse was phantastic, everything was very clean and the property was well-maintained. We would like to say "thank you" to Lana and Alan, who have given to us more than a good customer service.
And we will come back to London, to Eltham, to that penthouse and first of all to Lana and Alan.
