Set in the grounds of a Queen Anne Rectory, this property boast magnificent views of the Clee Hills and the surrounding countryside. This peaceful retreat has a large garden and easy access to beautiful woodland walks. The Coach House is perfectly situated to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside whillst only being two miles from the medieval market town of Ludlow famed for it's Summer Festival, Food and Drink Festival and two Michelin Star restaurants.

Surrounded by maginificent countryside, Ludlow is the ideal place for discovering the rest of South Shropshire and the Welsh border towns. This unspoilt medival market town, which dates back to the 12th Century, is the perfect location for visitors to enjoy their time exploring the surroundings of Ludlow Castle, the beautiful parish church and the woodland and riverside walks. The Ludlow Festival takes place in the last week of June and the first week in July, drawing vistors from across the county to enjoy Shakespearian plays set within the ancient castle itself. A food festival also takes place in September throughout the town, and Ludlow is the only town in the UK outside of London where there are two Michelin star restaurants offering visitors a gastronomic experience not to be forgotton. Whatever time of year this part of the world is visited is a treat.

Away from the rat race

I stayed atthe coach house with my wife and three daughters. The location and surrounding where quite special with many views of the Shropshire countryside. Ludlow was only a 5 minute drive away where the was an abundance of shops pubs and historical sights.

I would happily recomend this property to people of all ages and preferences.

Wonderful June visit to Ludlow

During the Festival we stayed in this idyllic cottage just outside Ludlow .It was so peaceful,the views incredible ,garden a riot of colour .The visiting cat a delight & the welcome basket of goodies including homemade jam & a vase of lovely freshly picked flowers really set the scene for a very enjoyable week.The accommodation was ideal for two couples,especially the large double on the ground floor next to the large bathroom with a very good separate shower,good for less agile visitors.A pretty twin is in the eaves .for more mobile..All just about perfect .

The best Holiday Cottage

We stayed in this cottage for a few days in early June and we really picked a gem! The view of the Shropshire countryside is beautiful and if you like gardens it is absolutely gorgeous with some beautiful roses. The cottage is well equipped, clean and very well furnished. The owners were very friendly and approachable. The fresh flowers from the garden were a lovely touch and made us feel at home right away. Ludlow is about 2 miles away and there are lots of lovely shops and good restaurants there. We only wish we could have stayed longer but we'll be back! Clare and Bill
