Ideally situated amidst beautiful unspoilt countryside in the heart of Devon, with far reaching views of Dartmoor. The spacious farmhouse makes an ideal holiday home for larger families or extended families. It stands in its own grounds, with plenty of garden area for children to play in, and 50 acres of land to roam (We regret we do not accept pets). Dating back to the 1800’s the rooms are large and retaining many period features including original beamed ceilings The farmhouse is centrally heated, in addition there is a wood burner set in an inglenook fireplace in the lounge and an open fire in the dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher,washing machine, microwave, full size electric cooker. There is a breakfast room with a Rayburn

Our farmhouse is situated in beautiful peaceful countryside, a truly rural location. The village of Bradford is about 1 mile and there is a pub about 2 miles away. The whole area is completely unspoilt with the North Devon Coast and the North Cornwall coast within easy reach. Barnstaple the main town of the area is a thriving and interesting town with a market and many interesting shops. Clovelly is a popular spot to visit and there are many quaint towns and villages in the area.

We spent Easter Break here, a group of 8 people, the rooms are large and spacious and well laid out. The kitchen is very well equipped and a great space for cooking in. The location of the farmhouse is perfect for getting to the hidden treasures along the Devonshire and Cornish coast line. Hester is friendly and very helpful and will tell you all the great places to go and visit.

Happy to recommend this property. Ideally located for exploring north devon and cornwall. Property was very clean on arrival and the owner is very friendly and approachable. Kitchen extremely well equipped and roomy. Superb dining area - lovely for all the family to be able to sit round for a meal. Plenty of land for kids to run about (big field adjacent to property, ideal for games, kite flying etc). All in all very happy with standard of accommodation, price and locality.
