Photos and Description of this Exmoor National Park holiday farmhouse House sleeps 8 + 4

This peacefully located, spacious country farmhouse, dating back to 1840 has been extensively modernised. It is set in an outstanding, secluded position surrounded by 5 acres of grounds amongst open moorland. The farmhouse(which is centrally heated throughout) briefly comprises of a reception hall, and cloakroom, large drawing room with French doors to the garden and large open fireplace. The kitchen is fully fitted in maple, with Aga/electric hob, and all the utensils that are needed in a modern kitchen, completed by a large oak dining table. The large boot room, having drying facilities with washing machine/fridge/freezer/gives plenty of room to dry and hang, out door clothes. There are 4 excellent en-suite double bedrooms (one on the ground floor) each with bath and shower, and plenty of room to add extra single beds when necessary. The farmhouse, and stables create an attractive courtyard with circular lawn and barbecue area.

Winstitchen Farm is situated in the heart of Exmoor National Park with uninterrupted views over moorland and enjoying access on to the moor for walking, riding and viewing the Red Deer herds. Set half a mile from Simonsbath and just a little further to Exford with Post Office shops etc. and a short drive to the coast

Loved the bridle path down to the river Barle- so peaceful and amazing wildlife en route even if it did rain. We really enjoyed being able to bring the dogs & horses on holiday. Tim Longford Warwickshire
