You will not find accommodation closer to the sea nor so full of history! Willy Wilcox - after whom one of the cottages is named - was trapped by the sea, while bringing contraband into the cave, deep under the house. During winter storms, heavy wooden shutters protect the windows, as the waves break on the rocks below. Inside, you can sit in front of a roaring open fire. You are snug and safe behind thick stone walls, which have faced the sea and been home for fishermen for hundreds of years. On fine days, you can watch the fishermen preparing their boats and landing their catches. These must be the most popular and sought after holiday self catering cottages in Cornwall - there is rarely a week when they are not both occupied. These cottages are large but, out of season, they are priced for 2 people

Willy Wilcox Cottage is one of the most romantic, self catering holiday cottages in Cornwall. It is a traditional, 400 year old, fisherman's stone cottage. with beautiful side terrace looking down onto the beach and out to sea. The cottage has a large drawing room with a Cornish stone fireplace and a massive copper hood. The kitchen/dining room is right over the cave. There are now 4 bedrooms, all with subdued lighting - The Harbour room (en-suite), The Beach Room, The Quay Room and The Boat Room in the style of a ship's cabin......... The Beach Room, on the South end of the cottage is right over the cave - you will not sleep closer to the sea anywhere! A side door leads from this wonderful bedroom up to the renovated side terrace, overlooking the sea. Tiptoe out in the moonlight and share a bottle of wine or a nightcap.. Willy Wilcox visitors have access to an INDOOR POOL WITH SAUNA. SPA AND GYM. Also 4 tennis court

• ALL OUT OF SEASON rates are for 2 people with an addition of £40 per extra person.
  For more accurate rates please telephone.
  
• Where a booking is made before 31 December for a holiday after 1 June a 10% deposit is payable. A further 40% is due on 1 March. The balance is due 6 weeks before your holiday.
  We accept credit cards or debit cards in the UK.
  
• Electricity is included. First basket of logs free. We charge at cost for wood and coal. The first parking space is included.
