Trehanoo house and cottage annexe are situated between Polzeath and Daymer Bay on the beautiful North Cornwall coast, the perfect accommodation to enjoy this famous holiday area. They are minutes from the cliff path leading either to the surfing beach of Polzeath, or the many rock pools of Greenaway, ideal for crabbing, and on to the miles of sand at Daymer Bay, heaven for sandcastles and windsurfing. Trehanoo is only 2 miles from Rock beach for sailing, water skiing, fishing trips and the ferry to Padstow. There are also 2 golf courses within 2 miles, St Enedoc and Roserrow. Trehanoo house accommodates 8 people in comfort and is set in a large garden with beautiful rural views of St Minver and lowlands in the foreground and the Bodmin moor peaks of Roughtor and Brown Willy in the distance. The lawned garden incorporates a terrace and raised decking off the kitchen. The totally separate annexe accommodates 4/5 people and is set in a small, lawned garden with a patio and car park

A bungalow with views from the south facing windows in the kitchen and sitting room to the moors beyond, in a quiet secluded garden with a high hedge for privacy. A patio area with sturdy table and chairs, and a gated entrance with the car parking within. Parking for 1 car. A cosy sitting room with a comfortable sofa and 2 chairs and a kitchen dining room. Combi TV/Video, DVD and stereo. One double bedroom 4' bed, one twin room 3' camp beds and a camp bed in the sitting room. For the extra holiday factor, £12.50 per head gets the beds made up with freshly laundered duvet covers and a bath and hand towel supplied. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. Coin operated electricity meter (in summer unlocked ie no extra cost) and storage heaters. Cleaning can be booked at an extra charge of £25.

  • Linen is no longer included in the rental rates, but may be pre-booked: made up beds, bath and hand towel £12.50 per head.
    Cleaning may be pre-booked at £25. However if cleaning is not paid but is found to be required, to bring the property back up to standard, a cleaning charge of £25 will be made.
  • The reservation may be cancelled at any time by you giving notice in writing. A 100% cancellation charge will be payable. On receipt of the written cancellation we will endeavour to re-book the annexe and, if successful for the whole or part of the period, will refund the relevant proportion of the money paid less £50.00 (fifty pounds) to cover office administration.
  • A separate returnable damages cheque of £150 is required.

Great place to stay for Polzeath and Trebetherick

My husband, family and few friends have stayed at Trehanoo House for 3 years running now - we LOVE the situation - quiet road, walking distance with boards to surf at Polzeath, or Daymer Bay. Facilities in house makes it feel home from home - great kitchen with loads of equipment for those who enjoy cooking - large table to sit round and eat together - spacious comfortable lounge for chilled eves relaxing with mates and watching DVD's. LOVE the outdoor HOT shower - great for after surf washing! Fantastic new bathroom as well as indoor shower. Really comfortable beds and lovely soft duvets too! The owners have thougtht about everything to make your stay perfect!
Close to supermarkets, surf shops, very smart hotel for elegant drinks etc, excellent restaurants like Moyhay - art gallery there too - and very handy to walk down to the TUBE STATION - surf cafe near the beach with cappuccinos, lattes, smoothies, pancakes and homemade cakes - aslo indoor skate ramp and free Wifi connection and wi games for kids.

Can TOTALLY recommend Trehanoo for lovers of quiet and Cornish life as well as action on waves and surf!

Great holiday in the annexe!

We are a family of 4 and stayed in the annexe during the October half term. We found the little house really cute, lovely and warm and had everything we needed during our stay. It is small but perfectly adequate as we were only around in the evening anyway. It was very good value for money especially since it is within walking distance of the beach and cliff top walks.

Polzeath itself was gorgeous with a beautiful beach with fantastic surf which the kids loved!

Will definitely visit Polzeath again and will definitely stay in the annexe if we have the chance.

The little blue house

We had a wonderful week in September 09, had lovely sunny days and the annex was perfectly placed for lots of activities. Spent the morning in the surf, there were great waves all week, and then in the afternoons made the short walk along the coast to Daymer to fly our power kite on the beach. Also headed to Rock for some wakeboarding and bananna boat riding. We went on a fishing trip from Padstow, caught lots of fish, even if the seas were a little bit rough for poor James who got pretty sicky! The annex was great in the evenings for BBQs and a good nights sleep so we had energy for the next day in the water.
Yep the annex is perfect for a week in the surf and enjoying the outdoors, has everything you need

the little annexe is perfectly situated for an out door style holiday - close to the beach - quite a steep hill on way back !! good for the calf muscles!
it is in the grounds of the the larger house but is seperated by a large hedge and a gate and so is quite private. The garden is really very cute and gets the sun most of the day and so if its too windy on the beach you can always top up the tan in the garden.
the annexe has all that you need - for a self catering holiday.its very clean and there is a washing machine - the down side is no dryer for drying towels etc - but airing cupboard is warm.
the bedding is all new and nice - and the sofa bed is good as well.
there is parking for 1 or 2 cars , beware of steep lane outside the annexe - best not to drive down it as very bumpy and not suitable for cars with low chasis.
its easy to drive out the way that you come in so not a problem.
will definately book again x

Long weekend June 09

The annexe was cosy and comfortable for 4 people. The weather wasnt too good but we still had a great time. Polzeath is a great base for visiting Cornwall. We went to Tintagel, Boscastle, Padstow, Bedruthan Steps, Lands End & Porthcurno. Good views of the surrounding countryside from the lounge window too.
