Inside the house:
From the back door you enter the kitchen, then left into the dining room. The small kitchen contains all mod cons including dishwasher, fridge freezer, lots of storage space and a well equipped kitchen. The washing machine is housed in the Utility Store behind the kitchen. Off the dining room, which overlooks the side terrace, there is a store cupboard. The living room has a sofa, cane chairs and a window seat and looks out over the gardens to the lovely country views beyond. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 with full size adult bunk beads. Attractive and lively decor combine to make this an ideal holiday location for families and the young at heart.
The house and garden and the villages:
The garden and terraces surround the house and are well fenced. There are various terrace areas suitable for outside eating and outdoor furniture and a barbeque are supplied. Just down the hill is Polzeath with it's glorious sandy surfing beach which is lifeguard patrolled in season with surf equipment hire available locally. Just up the hill is Trebetherick with it's village shop and a few minutes beyond, the sands of Daymer Bay - all are linked by the Coastal Path which can be accessed from the unmade road on which the house stands. The local pubs and restaurants have excellent food and are well known in the area.
Local interest:
Set within walking distance of the magnificent surfing beach of Polzeath, Greenways is in a prime location for visiting the numerous sites of interest for adults and children. These include the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Tintagel and the famous surfing beaches and windswept cliffs of the North Cornish Coast. A short drive away is Rock, where you can sail, water-ski, canoe, wind-surf and fish and take the ferry to Padstow and the famous Rick Stein restaurants. Also the spectacular cycle path following the disused railway line along the banks of the Camel Estuary. St Ives and lands End are an easy day trip. There is a book in the house with details of all the local activities and places of interest, both cultural, sporting and family friendly. The golf courses of St Enodoc, Trevose, Bowood, Lanhydrock, St Kew and Roserrow are all within easy driving distance.
