Set in a peaceful location, Bay View is a detached, 3 bedroom house providing up to date comfort and ample parking. The property is beautifully situated overlooking Lodmoor Nature Reserve and Weymouth Bay making an ideal base for guests with a variety of interests including bird watching and sailing. Only a short walk from the nature reserve and beach, Bay View boasts fantastic sea views and is furnished to a high standard. The property sleeps up to 5, is non-smoking and includes linen.

Bay View overlooks Lodmoor Nature Reserve, Weymouth Bay and Portland. Lodmoor is popular with bird watchers and you will find paths through the reserve that bring you to the sea front. Turn right and there is a flat walk along the seafront in the direction of Weymouth town with all its attractions. There is an excellent Tourist Information Office located on the sea front although at Bay View you will find brochures giving a sample of the many activties and places of interest in Weymouth and surrounding area. Alternatively, turn left and walk along the sea front to Overcombe. Here you will find the Oasis Cafe - open for breakfast through to an evening meal. There is also a general store which is very useful for newspapers, bread, milk and other staple requirements.

Peaceful but still centrally located

Wonderful and ideal for family holidays. Well equipped, complete kitchen, even with washing machine (which we didn't have to use), nice surroundings, loved the nature reserve and the beach. Excellent to relax and ideal to explore the surroundings and Cornwall attractions.
Definitely liked it there and would recommend.

A lovely house in a peaceful location

Bayview is a well-located, well-equipped and comfortable house which has been furnished with great care. We had a great holiday and really appreciated the excellent accomodation in a peaceful location.
The house is handy for day-trips around Dorset and it is a quick walk down to the local shingle beach.

Bay View is a modern house well equiped and maintained.
The description is very fair.The house overlooks a nature reserve and the sea and it is a 15 minuite walk to the beach.You can walk along the prom into Weymouth with the help of the land train in the summer if you wish, passing Sealife etc. on the way.
We enjoyed trips trips to Dorchester, Chesil Beach, West Bay and the Swanage Steam Railway.
Would definitely recommend for families or couples.

It was easy to contact the owner and the cottage was not difficult to find.
A lovely house on a beautiful location. Nature, beach and shops are nearby. A good place to start exploring the Jurassic Coast, castles, abbeys, historic railway, etc.
We recomend this holiday house to everyone who likes a relaxing holiday!

Weymouth was the area where we wanted to stay. Bay View for us, was a lovely property. The house was in an excellent location - good for bird watching and the beach. The kitchen was very well equipped. The property owner was very quick with all correspondence. We would definitely want to stay at Bay View when we visit Weymouth again. We used a combination of restaurants and takeaways for convenience and we enjoyed all the food. A really big thank you for a lovely holiday.
