The house stands on the beach in the quiet fishing village of Normans Bay. It is equipped for self catering, well decorated and furnished to a high standard. Normans Bay is an idyllic spot for a family holiday with a friendly village pub which has a good restaurant and superb facilities for children. The house has amazing views of the sea and Beachy Head from the first floor lounge. The miles of beaches and nature reserves promise hours of walking and bird watching pleasure.Whilst the house is situated in a quiet area the towns of Eastbourne and Bexhill-on-Sea are only a few miles away. Most sports facilities, golf, fishing, theatres and cinema are within easy reach. Normans Bay also has its own railway station.

What a beautiful, well-kept and comfortable home. If you enjoy peace, a lovely garden, and the beach right outside the back door, then this is THE place to stay! Thank you, Malcolm and Elaine, for your friendship and care. We were really sorry to leave after our week, and are already looking forward to returning next year. The gorgeous view from the lounge is to die for! SO hard to tear yourself away from it!

We spent a very enjoyable week with our two grandsons at this great location.The accomodation was very comfortable with spectacular views from the 1st.floor lounge.
We all enjoyed being able to walk directly onto the beach and explore the miles of uncrowded shoreline.
A car is necessary to reach the many stores,eateries and various attractions,although most are within a short drive.
The owners Mac and Elaine are the most friendly,helpful and generous people you could wish to find.

Plenty of room for 5 adults, lovely seaview, lots of tourist attractions nearby, friendly and helpful owner. One of my best stays in the UK sofar.

Great location, friendly owner

We were a group of 2 couples and a small infant and the place was just great. Malcolm the owner couldn't have been nicer.

Like the last reviewer, I'm sure I'll be returning for many short-term getaways here.

The golf course nearby looks pretty good too, didn't play though. I'll report back next time.

excellent location, kids loved it - being right on the beach. landlords were extremely nice and helpful. top customer service. the house was really clean and well maintained with beautiful seaview from the lounge window. nice mix of sea in the back and countryside with farm animals in the front of the house. 2 minute walk from train station. we enjoyed it for 2 years already and are looking forward to coming again next year.
