The house is located in a small cul-de-sac just a few steps from the charming shopping village of Stratford Road, where you will find a post office/newsagent, butcher, grocer, restaurant/deli, pie shop and lovely French Restaurant. The house is a three storey, three bedroom house. There is a large open plan sitting room/dining room, a fully fitted conservatory style kitchen with a glass roof. The kitchen has all modern conveniences such as refrigerator, gas cooker, microwave and dishwasher. The first floor main bedroom has French windows opening onto small balconies. The ensuite bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet & bidet. Also on the first floor is a second identical bathroom. The top floor double bedroom is similar to the lower one, two charming European Sleigh beds. The rear bedroom has two small single beds. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes. There is also a large basement for storage and drying.

The house is located in a small charming cul-de-sac in the heart of Kensington, London is lined with pink blossoming cherry trees. Planted in the 1930s, they are now mature. The house is just a few steps from the small shopping village of Stratford Road which includes a post office/newsagent, butcher, grocer, deli/cafe, flower shop, pie shop and a lovely French Restaurant. It is an easy walk to Kensington High Street, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens. 10 minutes by bus to the Natural History, Victoria and Albert, and Science Museums in South Kensington. Fifteen minutes by bus to Knightsbridge. Sainsbury's and Tesco supermarkets are ten minutes away on foot. Gloucester Road tube station is only ten minutes walk giving a direct line to Heathrow airport.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rate quoted is for 2 people. The rate for 4 people is 1550 pounds per week and for 6 people 1650 pounds per week.These rates include electricity, gas, final house clean and final laundry. Bed linen and towels are included. Tax is included.
  • At the end of your stay if you wish to extend and the property is not already booked, additional days will be charged at 200 pounds to 250 pounds per day depending on number of people . If there is a vacancy and you require a whole week it will be at the previously agreed weekly rate.
  • For bookings longer than 2 months we are happy too negotiate the rental rate.
