the place was great. The rooms where nice size and comfortable. the owner was very helpful getting to the home and showing us what was around to experince.
Made a great place for a family getaway.

Just a quick note to say, that I had a great time at the house. It it exactly what it says on the ticket! It was clean, comfortable and good value for money. Additionally, the house has very easy transport by tube to the center of London, which takes a short time to arrive. Plus it is easy to get back to the house from the center of London, about 20 minutes by tube. The owner stayed in touch to ensure all was well - good customer service skills.

Great guy - will stay again

My family and I recently stayed at this house is London. The house proveided excellent value for money and was a great base for exploring the 2012 olympic site and getting around London by tube.

We felt safe in the area and was comfortable walking around at night. The house had all the things we needed, like a nice dinning table and garden area to relax in the evening. The owner comes across as an honest down to earth guy, who was really helpful. One day I forgot my keys in the house and he came down with a spare set with no fuss and a smile!

When we arrived, we had an introduction to the house and local shops. My family then travelled to the heart of London within 30 minutes by tube.

I hope you find this feedback useful for your decision to book this property.

The house was a nice place to stay while in London at a good price. Be prepared to travel if your planning on spending a lot of time in London. From the house to Tower Hill (which is the end of the line for the fast train and first major London central stop), it was a 40 minute commute one way.

The neighborhood was nice and felt safe for running in the morning. As a woman runner and mother of a teen girl runner, this was important to me. The Barking stop at night was very sketchy and scary but that was the stop before Becontree. We stopped there once to find groceries on our way back home. We didn't stay there very long, but got back on the train and decided to wait until morning.

The house wasn't very well kept as the dishes were dirty in the cabinets (as in dusty) and the yard hadn't been mowed in a very long time. Be prepared to provide your own bar of soap and toilet paper upon arrival. There had been only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper for 7 people upon our arrival so a grocery store was of great necessity pretty quickly. After washing the dishes we needed to use, everything else was fine.

This was a nice place for our group to stay as we weren't able to afford much and we spent most of our time in London. The tubes were pretty easy to figure out and once we learned about switching to the fast train at Barking, our commute was shortened quite a bit (it had taken almost an hour before).

The owner was a very nice man who made a point of checking up on us and making sure we had what we needed even to coming over and changing a light bulb that went out while we were there and coming by and introducing himself.

Considering the value for the money, this was a good place for our group to have stayed.
