Pricing policy:
All prices are fully inclusive of gas, electricity, linen and towels. The property has full gas central heating and there is a phone for your use, but this is charged for at BT rates. The property also has a fully integrated fire alarm.
The house has local historical interest, it is located opposite the 13th century Parish Church of St James which is well worth a visit. The hamlet of Winscombe was formerly centred around the Church of St James and the former Court house belonging to the Dean and Chapter of Wells Cathedral.
The house is situated within easy distance of many tourist attractions. The beautiful city of Bath is a 45 minute drive away with the historic city of Bristol only 25 minutes drive. There are the market towns of Wells and Cheddar to visit with the world famous Cheddar Gorge (15 minute drive). If you want to visit a typical English seaside town it is only a 10 minute car journey to Weston-super-Mare. The house is actually situated on the Mendip Hills and once you cross the road outside the house you are on National Trust land where you can walk over the Mendips. The house is ideally situated for walking and all outdoor pursuits set in its picturesque setting. This is a marvellous setting off point for Devon and Cornwall and also the beautiful scenery of Wales.
The village of Winscombe has a good range of shops and also an excellent pub with family restaurant.
