Bad Things About House
The icemaker didn't work, the fridge wouldn't get cold and the housekeeping sucked! None of our sheets had been washed before we arrived, even though the beds were made. My sister had a dry pee stain in her bed and I had hair and nails in my bed.That's how we knew the sheets weren't clean. We were up until late night washing all of the sheets in the house when we arrived. The trash can was over flowing when we got to the house, it was the first thing blocking the driveway when we arrived. We had no where to put our trash and had to place all of our trash on the patio table, becase we had no trashcan since it was full from the previous guest. Going up the stairs, there was a nice hole in the wall and dead lady bugs lining the window. The house was spacious and the furniture was in decent shape but the housekeeping was horrible! There were lots of red ants in the cabinets and a used condom wrapper on the ground in the front lawn. There was no can opener, we purchased one and no ice because of the broken ice maker. Before we left we made sure to strip the sheets from all the beds, put them in the laundry room and wet all of them to ensure the housekeeper CLEANS them for the next guest. We asked for a refund on our housekeeping fee, its been a week since I sent that email, havent heard anything, and we also have not recv'd our depost back. The owners are really nice, but I'm disappointed I haven't heard anything from them since I emailed this same complaint in writing to them. I wouldn't recommened this property to anyone!! Unless, the owners get a new housekeeper!!!
