Great våcation base

Date of Stay: April 2010
My wife and I rented this house in April-May 2010 and enjoyed our time there. The location was very convenient for visiting attractions in the Kissimmee and Orlando area. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed seeing and hearing the birds from the pool area. The house was comfortable to be in and met all our basic needs. We especially enjoyed having a British-style teapot in the house. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and very responsive to our inquiries. Our only caveat concerns the size of the beds. We didn't know that the British classify beds differently from Americans and Canadians. Based on the listing on the website, we were expecting a king-sized bed (by North American standards) in the master bedroom. Instead we found a queen. Apparently a king-sized bed in the UK is equivalent to a queen-sized bed in North America. It would have been nice to have had that pointed out on the website. Otherwise, our stay was pleasurable and we would rent the house again the next time we return to central Florida.

Owner's Response: It is always very satisfying when renters report they have thoroughly enjoyed the house, its location and have every intention of repeating the experience.
The question of bed sizes has never arisen before. It is a fact that the UK dimensions for king size equate to the North American dimensions for queen size.
