The villa is located within the landscaped grounds of Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club. It is tastefully decorated and combines comfort, security and privacy in a beautiful setting. Southern Dunes is a championship golf course and is rated 51st in the top 100 courses in the US and is considered one of the finest in Central Florida. The Golf and Country Club also offers free leisure facilities including children’s play area, community pools, tennis courts, fitness centre with exercise room as well as a Club House Bar and Restaurant. The villa is conveniently located within a 15-20 minute drive of all the Disney attractions. Within walking distance from the villa are 2 large 24 hour supermarkets (Walmart/Win Dixie), restaurants, takeaways and a bank. A major shopping mall is only a short drive away. The villa is situated on large corner plot overlooking the 2nd green and with only one neighbour is quite private. Entrance to the grounds after 6.00 pm is by residence pass only.

The villa is ideally located with Orlando airport 35 minutes, Disney 15-20 minutes, and the Gulf coast 45mins away all you could require is within easy access but away from the noise and congestion. Located in secured, private surroundings guests can use the childrens play area, tennis courts, large swimming pool and gym plus the golf clubhouse which offers an excellent restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner along with bar facilities . At the entrance to the development, within easy walking distance, are a bank, petrol station and two excellent 24 hour superstores, WalMart and Winn Dixie which sell everything you can possibly imagine. ADD to this an amazing NEW chop house called Manny's that only opened in January that serves the most delicous steaks, ribs and shrimp and the All Star Bar & Gril, a sports bar that serves great food and that shows UK football & sport.

Unlike a lot of rental properties this property is not an investment property. It has been bought for our own use. Lettings assist in meeting the costs. Like all our guests we come to Florida for the variety of activities whether it be the sun, Disney, wildlife, golf, tranquillity or a mixture of it all. We didn't want to be surrounded by lots of other properties where all the pools look into each other, the prospect of other peoples screaming kids, noise, traffic congestion, bars, fast food outlets and hassle did not appeal one little bit. Southern Dunes in our opinion, having viewed a considerable number of other properties, offers not only one of the best golf courses in the USA but a level of tranquillity that allows you to relax after the hustle and bustle of the theme parks and feel like you're actually having a holiday!

Southern Dunes offers a level of convenience that's hard to beat. The local stores sell everything, including ready cooked food, both hot and cold, for self catering. Petrol is on site as are banking services. The Villas pool and deck afford superb views of the 2nd fairway with direct views of the 2nd green. It is a joy to sit by the pool with a drink and chat to the golfers whilst watching them put or see the abundant bird life of which we have regularly watched 6 eagles in the evening just before a magnificent sunset. We love it, we're sure you will too!

In its short history, Southern Dunes has received numerous awards from the golf industry: Top 10 courses built in the past 10 years by Links Magazine, America's Best Top 40 Daily Fee Courses in America by Golf & Travel, Places to Play by Golf Digest. Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club was opened in 1993 and was designed by golf course architect Steve Smyers. This dramatic hillside layout was built and is maintained to play fast and firm to enhance the bounce and roll of the ball.
