We are located just 20 minutes away from the Walt Disney World Resort, off Interstate 4 on Highway 27. Close by are Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, Sea World, Cypress Gardens and all of Orlandos attractions and shopping Malls.The local area is relatively undeveloped by Orlando standards making it easy to find space in the great and friendly local restaurants and shops with a number of them open 24/7. There are numerous golf courses near us but we are situated right in the middle of one of the best Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club. Southern Dunes is one of the best public golf courses in Orlando Florida and has been ranked #7 in the state of Florida by Golf Week. It is not only recognized as one of Orlando’s finest golf courses, but has been nationally ranked as well. Southern Dunes has been awarded a place in Golf Week's “Top 100 Modern Courses” from 1997 – 2000, a 4 ½ Star ranking by Golf Digest and “Top 10 Courses Built In America 1987-1997” honors by Links Magazine.

Access to the pool area is again over a threshold. The games room has table tennis, 7' extreme air hockey table and table football (foosball). The broad band access is free and the telephone has free local calls. There is also a Play Station 2, DVD films as well as CD's for the stereo. The pool and spa are heatable and there are separate controls on the pool deck for the spa that allow it to be easily operated. The pool and spa also have multi coloured rotating lights that look fantastic. The facilities at Southern Dunes Country Club are available for you use and include restaurant and clubhouses, tennis courts, children's play area, fitness centre, 3 swimming pool, fishing lake as well as the award winning 4 1/2 star golf course. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for accommodations when traveling to the Orlando area (especially for a Disney vacation). The location was great and a quick drive to all the parks with minimal traffic throughout the entire week. The house was spacious, clean, and the pool was fabulous. The golf course was also a treat to play! We would definitely stay here again.

Having just returned from a 2 week holiday in Florida i would reccommend this villa to anyone i know wanting to go.The position of it is great for all the amenities,Universal,Disney etc.After speaking to the owner a couple of times I found him very approachable and was only too happy to help.The villa itself is just how the advert says it is and the pool and jacuzzi is fab especially after long days out at the parks.Once again I would reccommend this villa.Thanks to Kev and his family for letting us stay at their lovely home.

Having rented various villas around Europe over the past decade, I have to say that this was the best that we have stayed in.

The property lacks for nothing, and is ideally located for experiencing all that Florida has to offer.

The pool is great, and the games rooms is as described - fantastic!!!

Our Magic Florida holiday

Arrived at villa on Thurs 6th Aug. Villa was very clean and tidy and very appealing. Our holiday consisted of visiting the many theme parks around the area. The villa was such a comfort to come back to each day after a day at the parks. the children had a ball in the pool and games rooms (as did the adults!) I would recommend this villa to anyone who has a car as transport is needed to get to places. All the theme parks (magic Kingdom, MGM, Epcot, waterparkls) were only a 20 - 30 min drive away with Universal and Seaworld abt 40 mins away. So although not quite in the thick of Disney the villa is situated very well and easy to get to. The owner was very helpful both before and during our stay. They have a managment team on site to help with any problems. There is also a wall mart for all your shopping needs, as well as surrounding restaurants/burger bars. The villa is situated on a wonderful golf course. This was the first time we have ever booked flights, villa etc on line and really were not sure if we had made the right choices but realise now we did and would recommend this villa to anyone wishing to visit Orlando and either visit the theme parks or simply chill out at the villa!

Family holiday in Florida

The villa was positioned in a pleasant residential setting with a golf course wrapping around it. Access to the golf club was available where the surroundings were picturesque and the food at the clubhouse was good. Access to the parks was reasonably direct and only about 30 minutes away. The property is well maintained and clean throughout. The management company check to make sure everything is OK but are not intrusive. The owners are accommodating if you have need to talk direct and are very friendly. I would be happy to recommend this property to a friend and would return with my familly should I do Florida again. Mannys chop house is a must!
Owner's Response: The golf course is fantastic so if you get the chance make the most of it as this family did. We always recommend Mannys Chop House as its a great local restaurant only 5 minutes away. Luckily our area isn't over developed so the restaurants and shops have locals as well as tourists in them. As for the parks Universal is about 30 minutes drive and the Disney World complex about 20 minutes away. We think you get the best of both worlds close to the attaractions and airport etc but away from the crowds when back at the house and in the local area. Also there is a large new Shopping Centre open on the Highway 27 / I4 junction so ladies let the men play golf for a morning while you go shopping!
