The peaceful, totally private pool deck: You will find it hard to tear yourself away from relaxing in this fabulous space. Uniquely for a rental home, the spacious pool deck is totally enclosed, so you really cannot be seen as you swim or sunbathe. The pool area faces due south, so the pool and deck will be in the sun throughout the day. If you find the sun too much, then the huge covered lanai provides welcome shade, with two ceiling fans for extra cooling. You will find the pool and spill-over spa in pristine condition as they were resurfaced Oct 2011. You will be extremely comfortable relaxing on the luxury pool furniture, and you can enjoy delightful alfresco meals at the glass-topped dining table. The built-in electric BBQ is great for when you fancy a cook-out. And for the peace of mind for those of you who may have young children, there is a (removable) child security fence installed. Across the pool deck from the main house, your friends or relatives can be totally private in the self-contained guest annexe.
Accommodation: The accommodation is all on one level, so there's ample room to spread out & relax! The luxurious living room has squashy leather sofas & a slate bed pool table. The formal dining room has a large marble table & upholstered dining chairs. The spacious family room is where you can watch the large flat screen cable TV or a DVD or listen to your iPod, music can be piped throughout the house. The breakfast nook overlooks the pool through huge sliding glass doors & is next to the kitchen with granite worktops, full size built-in oven & microwave & ceramic hob. The fridge/freezer dispenses chilled water & ice. The separate utility room has a lg. washer & drier. The master suite has vanity, full size oval bath, a walk-in shower & separate WC. The self-contained 'Guest Annexe' has vanity, bath with shower over & WC. This bathroom is also accessible from the pool area. The twin bedrooms are decorated to appeal to both young & old, & share a bathroom with bath, shower & WC
Golf:
Steve Smyers' dramatic award winning hillside layout at Southern Dunes will present you with a challenge unique in Central Florida. This 18 hole Par 72 links-style championship course features large, fast, undulating greens, water hazards & expansive fairways flanked by more than 180 bunkers of varying size and shape. With elevation changes of 100 feet, the dunes are planted with shrubs, grasses & ornamentals. The challenging conditions and impeccable playing surfaces make Southern Dunes a must play when visiting Central Florida. Southern Dunes has a very comfortable & impressive Club House, which is available to our villa guests. It offers breakfast & lunch menu items, golf shop, a PGA professional staff for golf instruction - & of course a bar! The price of a round of golf ranges from $35 to $110 depending on the season, lessons from $35 for half an hour. Golf clubs can be hired. There are around 30 other Pay & Play golf courses within easy reach, in fact you could play a different course every day!
