A ten minute drive finds many good restaurants including 'Leverocks' 'Hooters' 'Blue Dolphin' and the English owned Cricketers pub. There is a 1,500 stall flea market on US Highway 19 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and Ten Pin bowling.

Golf: Meadow Oaks Golf and Country Club, Tel +1 (813) 856 2878. Semi private course, PAR 70 (6016 yards), U.S.G.A. rules apply. Golf carts, pro shop, cafe, driving range, and private lessons are available. Situated 5 minutes from the villa (1/2 mile). 2 other courses are within 5 minutes drive.
