Location:
Fairway Oaks, in Hudson, is set in a quiet exclusive residential area of the Gulf Coast, approximately 20 miles north of Clearwater. Close by are numerous beaches and wild life parks, golf courses, shopping malls, cinemas, crazy golf, go-carting, and restaurants too numerouse to mention.
The nearest beach is less than 5 minutes drive and has a restaurant,bar and BBQ area. Visit the marina where you can rent boats and jet skis or arrange a fishing trip.
Local supermarkets are within 2 minutes drive.
Attractions:
Local attractions within 45 minutes drive include the Greek community of Tarpon Springs, like stepping into a Greek village with numerous restaurants, sponge docks and an aquarium with sharks. See the mermaids, water park and wildlife at Weeki Wachee springs, just a short 20 minute drive. Visit famous Bush Gardens, with thrill rides and animal safaris, only a 40 minute drive. Busch Gardens also has a separate water park (similar to Wet'n'Wild). Also visit Homossasa home to the Florida Manatee.
Orlando and all the Theme Parks of Disney and Universal studios are only a 90 minute drive away.
Recreation:
A large sports centre and park are situated nearby (2-3 minute drive) with tennis courts, swimming pool, childrens play area, fitness track and basket ball.
Fairway Oaks is situated on the Links Golf Course. There are numerous golf courses within a few miles which are open to the public and are all excellent. A round of golf including a Kart varies from around $20.
